The 2nd American Revolution and the Bible predicting it?

Ok, I know there are a lot of us "modern day revolutionaries" around here. And a lot belive in the Bible (my personal beliefs are too complicated to sit here and explain for this thread- but the bible does hold some water for me) Anyways, I've seen posts and threads about how people see that America is basically a perfect fit for the "new babylon" in the Bible in reference to the end times. (If you have no clue what I'm talking about google it. lol) Anyways, I wanted to bring this passage to see what others think.

“Now listen, you rich people, weep and wail because of the misery that is coming upon you. Your wealth has rotted, and moths have eaten your clothes. Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the last days. Look! The wages you failed to pay the workman who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty. You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves in the day of slaughter. You have condemned and murdered innocent men, who were not opposing you. Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains. You, too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.” James 5:1-8

King James Version
  • Behold
    , the hire
    of the labourers
    who
    have reaped down
    your
    fields,
    which
    is of
    you
    kept back by fraud
    , crieth
    : and
    the cries
    of them which have reaped
    are entered
    into
    the ears
    of the Lord
    of sabaoth.
  • New American Standard Version
  • Behold
    ,
    the pay
    of the laborers
    who mowed
    your fields
, and which has been withheld
    by you, cries
    out against you; and
    the outcry
    of those
    who did
    the harvesting
    has reached
    the ears
    of
    the Lord
    of
    Sabaoth

I think there has to be a revolution on America. Instead of fighting the British we will be fighting the CFR and our own armies of the leaders in Bilderberg.

Actually, I think you have described a good portion of this country. The ones in the power seats are doing exactly what is described in the above passage. I don't think the American people have the guts to start a revolution, at least not untill things get a lot worse, and I believe they will, get a lot worse. When the average citizen is forced to live like inner city ghetto dwellers, you may see the spirit of a revolution, but in the present, Americans are way too spoiled to get out of their Lazy Boys.

I too belive people are far to content with themselves and have to much faith in the higher powers to move in any kind of organized fashion. Peoples beliefs are so dilluted by what they think is important in their daily lives, sadly misconstruded into nothing more than a blatent distraction from what is happening in the hierarchy. I belive that we will see this catastrophically fall apart in our own lifetimes.... HotNSexyMILF and mothers of the same mindset, hell all of us must teach our children (and remind ourselves) independence and self-reliance to prepare them for the coming hardships. Now remember in the Bible the story of Sodom and Gomorrah, and how God showed Lot and his wife mercy. Not all is forsaken. Long live the Republic of Texas.

This is a photo from the FTAA summit in Miami in 2003. The police activity in these photos occurred at a peaceful, permitted, AFL-CIO march of only 10,000 or so. Those of us who favored more militant action, had negotiated in good faith with the union bureaucrats that we would not incite the police and endanger their members. I was near the police line, when they went off, and I swear on my mother's eyes, that other than some annoying drummers, there was no assault on the cops, unlike other actions and summits. I'm not one to deny when people charge police lines or throw things. More power to them.

Despite being a one-time summit hopper, I have never seen this kind of law enforcement outside of movies and video games. This is now referred to as the "Miami Model" of applying overwhelming force to dissent. The final cost was about $12,000 a demonstrator. They could have cut me a check and I would have gladly stayed home.

These cops were not urban warfare/counter insurgency veterans like the cops of the near future will be.

At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people - everyone whose name is found written in the book - will be delivered. Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. But you, Daniel, close up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge."

Then I, Daniel, looked, and there before me stood two others, one on this bank of the river and one on the opposite bank. One of them said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river. "How long will it be before these astonishing things are fulfilled?"

The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, lifted his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and I heard him swear by him who lives forever, saying, "It will be for a time, times and half a time. When the power of the holy people have been finally broken, all these things will be completed."

I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, "My lord, what will the outcome of all this be?"

He replied, "Go your way, Daniel, because the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end. Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand. - Daniel 12:1-10
