I'll most likely make it, with a few friends from the Muskegon area. We will definitely be down for the pregame burn down : )
Tickets are only $7 and this includes BOTH days. They will also be available at Shakedown Street soon.

Stop buying cheap janky ass pieces made in china, please. Last time I was there they had k2 on display... I would rather have people who are in it for the love, not to make money off of cheap glass made in china as well as extremely harmful drugs.

You can also get tickets at Ticketmaster or at the door. There will be Michigan glassblowers at the event blowing glass and selling their pieces. Come on out and support local artists directly. If you know any glassblowers that would be interested in showcasing their talent at the show let me know, we have a couple spots left.

A lot of the cheap simple glass has been produced in India.
I think they're making it while multi-tasking customer service calls for various large corporations. Headset, manual, glass rod, torch and kiln.

Well it looks like I might be able to make it out there after all. I just found out I have Saturday off work which is extremely rare, I never get a whole two day weekend lol! Still not sure if I'll make it though but it was the first thing I thought of then I found out my free time this week was doubled. The only problem is, the only friend I have available to come with me isn't a patient, will that be a problem for him? Not sure what type of rules this event has...

Just checked the link on the first page of this thread and it looks like the site is no longer active. Anyone have any links with actual info on this event? Now I'm wondering if it hasn't been canceled due to recent events around the state ...

well I'm getting this third hand but it seems the "after-party" for contestants is being moved to tonight????? if that ends up being true I am going to throw a hissy fit saturday when I get there. Any one else get any info on this thing????
