Hi RIU'ers, we had a bit of a pic competition on the 600 thread and want to put the vote out on a poll to see who's picture people like the most. I am sure you all know how to vote as you are all over 18 aren't you! We are giving away some amazing looking spoons from fdd2blk's work, as well as some possible surprises.

These are just a few pics outta my weed porn folder.
They aren't my shots.
I just thought the entries were a little uninspired
and I wanted to throw out some "artistic" weed
pics rather than the usual straight on bud shot.

haha beansly! inspiration for growing is all the 600 is about! we all dont have the artsy fartsy side to us and good cameras to get super fine upclose photos as some of the ones you posted. we got green thumbs and were lucky enough that we can get the photo button to click with out getting stuck. we do it for fun not to win, its just a side benefit haha. nice pics though, whereever they came from.

ya jigs does stand out like a sore thumb! going to be a tough decision.

slightly lame people are voting for themselves, should have the decency to give others a vote.

I agree those shots you posted Beansly are wicked. One day would be great to take pics like that. It's taken me 2 years to take pics as good as I do, maybe another 5 and I'll be close to those photographers.

And I really liked Don's picture a lot, but I'm not above voting for myself. I'm a competitive son of a b.

You guys are right, but the people that posted 90% of those pics are forum members like you and me.

(I thought everyone knew this but ICmag is where all the members from the old 'overgrow' site went to. For you youngsters out there, 'overgrow' was the first great weed forum. It was shut down in 2005 i think because members were trading bud/seeds/clones. Allegedly.)
has a bud of the month of the month contest every month
(as a matter of fact, most weed forums have BOTM contest, but ICmag has the best shots I've EVER seen, including high times and skunk and all the other weed magazines I read)
and then a bud of the year contest at the end of the year and the shots they enter are on a whow' nuvva lebba'

yeah im on ICMAG as well just dont post except for just a couple the other day. more of needed it for lucas formula but they do have a lot of good growers over there.

just wanted to say thanks to all the judges who put this together- COF, DST, and Westy! you guys are great and have done a good job in running these two contests and have created some of the best threads RIU has ever seen!

Beansly, no offence, but this is not a competition that is claiming to be the best pics on the internet, we ran a competition on a thread that's all. I don't really see the benefit of someone posting continual pics from other forums and other competitions. If you want, please post pics on the 600 thread, this is for voting only. No need to dog on other peoples attempts, like LG said, we are not all professional photographers we just do it for the love and fun of it.

Thanks for your opinions, I am sure everyone will try harder next time, lol.

Whoa, calm down lady, I wasn't doggin on anyone.
I didn't know 'The 600' was an established poll/contest
before I posted in this thread. And I never said it was a
'best camera' contest with the rest of the internet, sheesh.
Don't get mad at me, it's not my camera skills that need work.
