I've not tried the T5 style led but raising seedlings/clones it's near impossible to fk up with regular T5HO fluorescent, with my 135w led I need to be careful not to bleach/stress the plants.

I'm happy with either but the lack of heat is an issue for me during the colder months so T5s rule :-).

I have a pair of T5 LEDs for seedlings. The bulbs were a direct replacement for the 20 year old of T5 fluorescents. The only difference I noticed is that the LEDs gave off zero heat.
