By even using such stupid terms, your cousin identifies himself as a bepimpled teenie who is really impressed with being what he thinks is kewl- and wouldn't know bush buds from pencil shavings.

Purple plants are usually phosphorus or molybdenum deficient or have been grown in unusually cool (<16C) conditions. Purpling almost universally indicates a sick plant which will have less resin & THC than a healthy one. Sure, you can make your plant purple, just starve it for nutes or keep your grow room too cold. At the same time, you'll be reducing the potency of the buds.

Anyone who thinks purple buds are from some sort of ultra-strong strain should probably go smoke some proper dope so they can learn the difference.

Genetically purple plants are somewhere between rare and nonexistent. If you see a purple plant, it's been abused, 'u fool.'

I am really scared for our future with people like that walking around.

I would be too if it was not for the the fact that some wankstains get their rocks off by acting stupid and trolling threads just to see what we'll do.

Well I guess its time again to update my journal.

I am 2 weeks into 12/12 my largest is 24 inches and starting to flower. I have 3 more that are catching up to her. The smaller plants were smaller clones i know now that's its a waste of time to mess with weak clones. I did make a few mistakes but it was only because i didn't want to burn or kill them. I started with the light real high for 3 days and weak nutes next time its full on right out of the gate.

Out of 7 plants i got 5 females but i only kept the 3 strongest ones because of the room in my veg area. I have removed the floro's i was using to veg and added a 400MH and i cant believe the change in the plants. I will get some really great clones this time. In 2 weeks i will be turning on the 1000W HPS and final clipping them for SOG.

heh, while it's pleasing to hear you note the difference between vegging with flos and with MH, it's a comment I want every CFL evangelist to read.

You may want to prune back the thin growth on the mums that was produced by the fluoros. It will be replaced in nothing flat with vigorous, thicker stemmed growth. Your mums will double in size in 2 weeks. Be prepared to prune them back at that time if you don't need cuttings right then. You can cut them back really quite severely:


mums just after cuttings and 14 days later (400W HPS, 24/0)

Thats what the plan is Sunday after I take a new set of clones. I cant afford to wait for them this time. But then in 2 weeks i will have the real nice ones.

did you ever get your clones to work in the rw cubes? did you use rooting gel?..

Nope!! I needed to build a setup EXACTLY like he had because without it it just wont work. I use an areo cloner now.

I don't know how he did it but I've used rooting hormone and mine take ten days to get 1/4in roots about 12 to have the roots poke out of the rw...
