The Apprentice's 1st Hydroponic Grow

Okay guys so I am starting this because I know I can get some really good advice that can help me with my 1st grow. Just a background of whats going on. I am using a 90w LED light for the start of my grow. In this tent there will be 4 plants starting. After they get to the desired height I will be transplanting these into the grow room I have built where they will each get there own hydro bucket. In the grow room they will veg until the time is right to switch them over. In this room I am going to be using 1000w of HPS and MH as well as 200w of CFL.

Seeds being used: 1 Blue Dream, 1 Red Headed Step Child, 2 Anthrax Kush
Solution: Fox Farms Trio
Medium: Clay Pellets
Water Pump: 400 GPS
Air Pump for Airstone


I have attached pictures of the supplies I have gotten for the first part of the grow

Currently the stats are: Day 2 - 3 of the seeds have come though the peat slightly. I changed out the res and took out the top drip system. I filled the res back up with zero water with a PH of 6.8 and PPM of 004. I then added half strength BIG BLOOM and GROW BIG to the res. Took the PH to 5.6 and PPM to 140. Clay pellets and peat are pretty moist.

What brand led you using ?

7 Band if I am not mistaken.

Never heard of em ? Are they eBay special?

Day 4 Update - 3 plants have shown themselves and the are looking very strong. Today one more gallon with 1/2 strength nutes to the res.
Tent Temp - 75
Res Temp - 65
PPM - 341
PH - 6.8

If I am not mistaken there are all good stats. I have a picture of my water, should it look so dirty? I think clay pellets keep falling in.

It's been awhile since I've updated this but one of my plants is very sick currently.I have attached a picture of all 4 of my plants as of 4 days ago before I did a res change. We are still in veg but I think I am going to switch once this plant pops back up. Ever since the res that plant has been going down hill. (Reasons why?) before putting the plant back into the new res change I submerged the roots in pure water to rinse them, is that bad? Also the PH was 7.9 for 2 days because I ran out of PH DOWN. As of last night the PH got fixed, this morning it looked much worse. I have no idea what to do at this point...

I also trimmed some of the lower fan leaves on that plant.

By the way I am now running 1000w on these babies now and have been trying to follow the Fox Farms Trio feeding as best I can.

Just give your plant time and stay ontop of your ph, very crucial. How close is your 1000 watt to your plants? Looks like slight heat stress almost.

The 1000w was about 18inches above them but 4 days ago during the res change we upped it another 6 inches. What temp should my room be at? My ballast allows me to do 500w, 750w, and 1000w so I can bring the temp down if thats the problem. Thanks for the advice!
