Nature has all sorts of bugs and animals that defoliate its plants. It's quite natural from my point of view.I won't waste my time ,if the plant didn't need leaves it wouldn't have them to start with.
Exactly. Plants are given more leaves than are actually needed. Saying that leaves should be left alone because that's the way a plant grows naturally is like saying that that non-organic nutrients, artificial lighting, fans, supplemental CO2, screens for scrogging, and all forms of training should be avoided as well because those elements are not found in nature.Nature has all sorts of bugs and animals that defoliate its plants. Beautiful man. Looks more like the art of supercropping, lol.View attachment 4501540

I would do some defoliation for better airflow, but not extreme like some people do. I also like to do it little by little, but you can do it all at once too. Those don't look they need much, but maybe a little.I’m not in flower yet from seed about 45 days or so in an I am also seeing no defoliate then to defoliate? I’ve topped the plants and they are growing should I trellis them? And I am limited on space as I figured some would be males I ran more than I needed for this size tent which is a 4x4 should I defoliate? And if so how much I figured they will sex soon? These are pics recently had a few problems w nutrients long story but next to that?
i Assume I’m a few weeks from flower?

hi defoliation is mostly done to remove fanleaves which block light from budsites or sugarleaves, after the flowering stretch is a good time for it.I’m not in flower yet from seed about 45 days or so in an I am also seeing no defoliate then to defoliate? That pic doesn't look like it needs any defoliation. So I have this going on this is a pic a few days ago the previous were today I’m going to trellis soon as well so no defoliate now light isn’t getting down I don’t think but I’m new to tent and it’s reflective etc.... is why I’m asking . They’re amazing plants growing like hell gyeds that’s genetics?... I just want to do what’s best seeing as I topped them should I not worry about what’s beneath the top now? That seems to be growing most which is what brought up defoliation at this point @Kassiopeija
how much light do you throw at them? the internodial length is too much for indoors, IMO...So I have this going on this is a pic a few days ago the previous were today I’m going to trellis soon as well so no defoliate now light isn’t getting down I don’t think but I’m new to tent and it’s reflective etc.... is why I’m asking . are you planning to SCROG? then lollipopping would be the method to remove leaves...to trellis soon
that's a funny pic RangiSTaxi... where I live we have a saying (which we say to someone when that person is unreasonable...):
