The Atheist Experience

Right on Cue as if to demonstrate my point. These would be examples of how he uses any reply, no matter what it says, to spew his diatribe, and further demonstration of his school yard conduct. He is real good at claiming unfairness and labeling things he doesn't understand as bullshit, but never shows the slightest evidence or support for these lables. He is the boy who cried wolf so many times that the adults don't even turn their head anymore, unless they are new in which case he takes advantage of their good intentions to gain a self-righteous erection and masturbate his religious hate speech. Mutual masturbation is his favorite, so don't lend him a helping hand.
Amen... Beef, put him on ignore as not to waste your time or get a headache. If you want to exchange with theists/deists try Hep and karriOn, they are intelligent, honest and civil...

Clearly....

That was my point in my god thread. What if our ancestors called aliens god and now for some reason we call them aliens. But all along we are talking about the same beings. Another point is why believe in aliens so quickly but be so skeptical of a god? (remember dude I'm not fighting, lol).

because they are too stupid to realize anything in front of them... they think since they speak so high and mighty that everyone is going to kneel before them and not take em on on their bullshit... especially turden that douche...

Very true. Saying 'God doesn't make sense, therefore aliens' is just using one unknown to explain another. The history channel is not the best place to find actual science.

They couldn't be the same beings: if there is extraterrestrial intelligent life, they would have evolved by a slow, gradual process similar to how we evolved, not simply pop into existence or be axiomatic. They would be subject to the physical laws of the universe, not create them. They wouldn't/couldn't be omniscient or omnipotent, but these are traits ascribed to gods. The anthropic principle suggests that conscious alien life exists, no principle indicates that gods do...

Good point, and please don't think I'm trying to go around your point by asking more questions, but how are you so sure you know how the universe works? What if somewhere in the universe it's not strange for something to pop into existence with no help? Afterall we aren't sure if our laws of physics are the same throughout the universe <> http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2010/09/100909004112.htm.

In this other part of the universe they are probably asking themselves why and how they pop into existence, if there are gods, aliens.

If the universe is infinite then that must be the case multiplied by infinite. Like there's an infinite amount of carbon copies of me and you. That would be to fucking mind blowing to meet myself.

These articles are awesome, Hep! Thanks for sharing, I wasn't aware of these findings. What I hope to see (if these findings are accurate) is data that shows us if other physical constants vary throughout the universe, and if they vary, do they do so in proportion to the alpha variance. That would make sense to me, a kind of Doppler effect of physical constant waves getting longer throughout the universe, all in proportion to what we observe on Earth.

Things do pop into and out of existence constantly on the quantum level, but here on the "macro level", all we know to this point shows this cannot happen. Instead, things go from simple to complex in a very slow, gradual way...

Yeah I was blown away to when I found this out, lol. I'm waiting for them to discover more info, :).

(aimed towards general viewers, not towards you dude>) I'm not saying this is evidence of god, I'm just saying don't automatically count out possibilities of things that just sound crazy.

Actually this is incorrect. It is only very improbable due to the large number of particles required to simultaneously pop into existence but it can happen and in an infinite universe with infinite time, it WILL happen.

There's a movie that I liked entitled, 'The One' with Jett Li. It described a multiverse where there were exactly 100 copies of each of us in 100 different universes. Our 'individual' power was divided by 100, so an evil version of Jett Li traveled throughout the multiverse killing off each different version of himself, and with each kill the power of the remaining versions of himself got stronger, smarter, faster, etc.. It got down to Jett Li in our world who was a cop (and was improving in all areas without knowing why) and the evil Li. Whoever killed the other would become The One, a god. Guess you don't have to see it after my lengthy description, but it wasn't made because it was a great piece of literature ;)

Actually if the laws of physics are different in other parts of the universe and you multiply that by infinite there would be an infinite number of different possible forms of life not copies.

Well yes both of us are correct. There's an infinite amount of carbon copies that apply to our laws of physics and other laws of physics.
