I'll give a beard a go.

Haven't shaved in a week or so... My facial hair grows slowly, and not at all in some places but I'll grow it out as long as I can stand it...

I think it would look good. It appears you will grow and even beard. I do't see any "bald" spots from your pics. And the second pic…. LOL

according to my wife, I'm not allowed to shave. She's already a bit older than me, and when I'm clean shaven I look 14 and she gets mistaken for my mom.

Keep it short and shave under my chin, and neck. Tried it with the long hair, but my hair grows out looking fried so after two years of trying to manage it I took a pair of scissors to the rats nest on my head.

Don't feel bad, when i am bearded my wife gets mistaken for my daughter, she is only 10 years younger.

I fucking hate beards. Namely because I can't grow a badass one. My sides never came in, mine grows as a goatee, actually looks pretty sweet and manly by about day 3 of no shave , but by about day 8 of no shave it looks kind of lame so I gotta reset. So I have like a 5 day window were I look pretty hot, so If I'm gonna be out trying to impress a particular lady I like to shave about 3-4 days in advance. How I would love to not have this issue. I always wondered if it would go past lame and go back to sweet with enough time. Just never had the nerve or social isolation to pull off that sort of experiment

you could get a beard trimmer. Let it grow until you like it, and keep it trimmed at that length.

Beards are a no-go for me. Clearly i'm in the minority but just thought I'd throw in my two cents from a female's perspective... gross. A little stubble is sexy though

lol, i've met, well, i think one person from this site irl, and i have a few people who have become good friends, including the one i met irl, that i talk to off line, and same thing happened each time with me.. not a one of them looked, talked, was like the picture i had of them in my minds eye... funny how that seems to work out..

lol, same here, i've had a goatee since the late 90;s or so, until i grew out my beard that is, and every time i end up shaving for w/e reason, i'm like damn, what's that odd looking thing under my mouth there? oh, that's right a chin, i haven't seen that thing in ages..
