Alright, so I'm planning to embark on what will [hopefully] be a very long lasting setup. Here are the details:
Tent- 5'x5' Gorilla
Method- Scrog 4'x5'
Plants- 3 girls all given roughly 1.7'x4'
Cooling- 1- 6" inline fan (in tent)- pulling through filter pushing through the duct that's running through light and out of tent
Medium- 3- 3gal dwc connected to a 5 bucket recirculating system
My main questions and anticipated problems are as follows:
Tent- At current time with just the inline fan, the gorilla tent generally stays 10-20 degrees higher than the outside room! Shouldn't a 400cfm inline that's pulling air inside the tent be enough to suck in adequate cooling?? If not, what's the next best thing- install a 200cfm pushing air into the tent?
Medium- Do you see any issues with the rDwc system itself? I figure linking them with all pvc and having the pumps in its own bucket at the end should create a good flow, right?
Lights- I'm still deciding if I want to throw 2 600's in a double socket hood... or just go with a wide hood dimmable 1000w. Putting it simply, which will produce more?
Plants- Any ideas on filling the screen just perfect with 3 equally spaced buckets would be appreciated! I don't want to under/over do it.
When I finally have the good graces to embark on this one I'll be sure to start a journal because if I scrog a good strain under 1000w+ in rDwc with H&G.... well you can picture it
Hopefully everyone checks this out because I really think it's an amazing top of the line entry level for anyone considering dropping $1000-$1500!
