Thanks for posting that information. I noticed that they carry OGR and Mosca beans. There clone menu is not posted on weedmaps. This place is pretty close to me and I will be checking them out. Care to post some sample strains that they carry?

Has anyone grown out their clones? Does anyone know anything about their genetics other than what they say. I believe ZERO of what any clone seller says. It may not be the dispensaries fault, mind you. The grower can call cuts whatever he/she wants. I have purchased and bloomed out over 100 cuts purchased at So Cal dispensaries, and not a single one would I consider "elite". In fact, most were quite average and some totally sucked.

Clones aren't like laptops. You don't go home, open the package, and find out right then that the thing sucks ass. Noooooooo. With cuts you don't know anything for months. Most folks don't bother to go back and complain over a few $10 cuts. But they should...and dispensaries should encourage feedback. Then, hopefully, we can get these shit cuts off the market. I don't expect to be able to buy genetics like mine over the counter. They are the real elites and only available through the "grower network"...and sometimes for prices that most people wouldn't even believe. But, I would expect dispensaries to at least make an effort to keep the real crap off the shelves.

I can't imagine selling a clone that I've never bloomed out and tried. Yet, dispensaries do that all day long. I true clone store would have samples of the finished product, photos of the strain all through the growing process, and detailed information about growing the strain. I would think that info would be easy enough to obtain. The dispensary could just require the grower to provide said info with the cuts. I've often thought of selling cuts of one of my prized strains the last year I'm in business. For years my policy has been no live plants leave the op. But, I can't even imagine how much $$$ could be made once word got out what I was selling. But, I probably won't. It would piss off my growing buddies to no end. Plus, it's only elite if it's hard to get, right?

RIGHT ON THE MONEY, my man; well said and so very, very true. I too have a very elite strain that "no live plant leaves the operation" also. I am not trying to be greedy, but the way things are going and all the new "growers" out there (here), I have to do something different. My grower buddies are always trying to get a single clone from me but I don't give in. My attitude is the sane as yours; not elite if everyone has it. She commands a $14.00/gm donation, which is the only way it is available...

As much as I hate to end the clone bashing, anyone had root aphids? All of my commercial buddies are getting them except for me. Commercial J got them and he runs the cleanest show in town. My neighbor has them and I'm afraid to even visit him now. Commercial J was able to eradicate with Azamax flooding and Dr Doom applied to root ball.

The good news seems to be that the Azamax @ 15ml/gal can be applied to roots via flooding with oi ill effect to the plants. I have a few plants that are yellowing a bit early...could be those little fuckers. Just wondering what experience, if any, you guys have had with these. They seem to be taking over California.

How to you identify the root aphids? Are they easy to see on the roots?

Yes you can see root apids they also breed flyers they look like Fungus gnats but they do way worse damage if you get them your pretty much fucked ive tryed Azamax and sns203 and all the bull shit out there there resilient!! Im in Socal and i got them for a bit then had to shut the show down and sterilize every thing! Now im battling mites Im moving back to Las Vegas All my good freinds and growers dont deal with no root aphids there non existent only mites and fungus gnats but there barley there its too hot for most pests there!!! All i can say is Bring on the heat! Lol

In my experience the best place to get clones is from other growers who cut their own moms from large sample sizes of seeds. Generally growers don't like to release elite cuttings to dispensaries. Not saying that's always the case, it does happen. Just more often than not they're going to hold their best cuttings back.
