General mj growing?
Advanced mj techniques?

Dunno for sure but not in here.

Anyway there isn't just one best topping method.
For example if you want to veg your plant for a short period
HST(high stress training) aka topping to 4mc or 2mc will stress your plant serioysly.

You could just bend the top down and wait for the lower tops to grow.

You can even top a plant to get 4 main branches and then top the tops again to get 16 tops.

One good method i use for myself is UB's topping to get 4 branches, and then tighing them to horizontal cross-shape wires to get a bushy plant with no main colas

I would suggest the "Led and other lighting" method
.....

no it is good to post here because that is how you want to grow with leds, nice even canopy!!

Look up main-lining thread ( at the very top of subcool's old school organic's sub section of organics ) I guess that's the new thing.

I think fimming is better than topping per say... watch this video at 5minutes or so. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ICnlNvq2jsY&feature=plcp

that is not what I meant ... I meant that it is even more important with leds therefore I welcomed the question. you should be more polite!! :eyesmoke:

I agree with enduroxx!

I say mainlining is probley the best but probley the most challenging. (never done it but FUCK look at nug buckets results! That's my next grow)

FIM technique is pretty fun too, pretty much anyone can "fuck I miss" haha
But tru be told I like to LST because it gives you constant control over the plant and in my opinion it's better for the plant (in terms of vegging time and recovery) because your not chopping, or snapping the plant which can cause slowth in growth. Avoiding snapping or topping can help your plant grow quicker and eliminating precious time for vegging. Just my 99 cents

But whatever you decide to try I'm sure your plant will respond well and you will gain lots of experience.

Here's a pic of my current gsc and my version of LST training from day 3 of rooted clone. Extreme bondage No snapping no topping.
Veg for about 2 months going to three, about 20+ established tops. Cloned bottom 25%
