The BEST way to Germinate Seeds

hey every one. i'm going to germinate for the first time. im going to use the method of putting them in water for about 24 hours. and put the seeds in the rapid rooter. i have one problem im in uk and can not get hold of the rapid rooters but i can get ROOT RIOT CUBES. now are the root riot okey to use insted of the rapid rooter?

They look and sound like they are the same thing: organic matter, spongy, micro nutrients and beneficial fungi. I would use them in a heartbeat.

About half an inch has always worked well for me. Sometimes I germ the seeds then stick the tap root into the rooter cube, leaving the seed head right at the surface of the cube.
