I feel u on that.

Its for the better of the plant so it doesn't bother me too much.

I know she understands :) she didn't like being so tall and lanky, she wants to be a nnice bushy bitch ;)

nice work bro...you going to grow some trees?....i will be watching that lav x vortex.......good show.
Well i'd prefer to have some "bushes", if i had my own property i would love to have some 15 ft. "Trees" :) but i'm trying to keep these girls under the fence line so we dont have any unwanted prying eyes.

The lav x vor is responding very well to be mainlined.

I dont think i'm going to ever grow a seedling the same after learning this method from you nugbuckets.

I cant thank you enough, if i'm ever in the Michigan area i would love to toke a few bongsmilie

After at least a month in the ez-clone only one of the clones i made from the Romulan branch has survived and it has finally got a root sprouting out :)

I really need her to come thru and root nicely, i've been dreaming of getting a hold of this strain i cant lose her now.

dude, as you probably know, th Rom is notoriously hard to clone.....so congrats!...i get to the bay every couple of years...maybe someday we will share a spliff........i have a small 8 plant outdo every summer, growing hedges....using some bonzai techniques....keeping the plants 4 ft. max.....but i don't even get serious until the first week of june....using 25 gal, smarties with handles, so i can move them around...works great...we don't have the nice summers you do, so we have to be creative.....storms, short summers, high humidity, bugs etc....so through this, if you want to be successful, you also have to be resourceful, and creative....i dig the challenge.....i have connections to no-cal, so i see quite a bit of outdo west coast herb.....and some of the best mind you, so my bar was always set real high.....but to get great results in the upper mid-west is tough......so over the years, i have adopted methods that work indo, cabinet, outdo, greenhouse etc....multi faceted......but one thing is certain.....bonzai and LST works everywhere, in all situations....and if canopy is properly built, it can even trump traditional methods for consistancy and quality.....yield i am working on....but my standard is an oz. per gallon of medium outdo.....sounds like a stretch, but it isn't.....10 gal. pot...10 zips....25 gal pot 25 zips etc.....it is like the g/w thing, just different concept....but for me, plant structure, canopy, and being totally modular, and movable...is key.....following your grow tight.....nugs

Damn an ounce per gallon is pretty legit.
I'd love to see that.
I feel pretty spoiled with the great weather for outdoor growin here in the bay.

Ya I highly doubt this Rom cutting is going to hermie unless I put it through some severe torture.

Shes looking extremely beautiful.

This is the cross I wanted to grow the most.

This plant is extremely short and bushy compared to the other strains.

Topped about 6 inches off the top so she should get nice and bushy now that i know shes a female.

Nice man! I'm anxious for mine to show sex, I assume I have about another month.. :(. Looking great though!
Hey Brandon thanx.
good luck with ur plushberry and vortex, my two plushberries were males:(

Very nice man! Thanks for keeping us updated! :D
Thanx bro just trying to have as much info as possible to look back on this year after harvest.

Wont have any updates till Monday, we're up at our family cabin in Murphy's celebrating my girlfriends 21st bday.

Gonna be wine tasting and hanging out in the woods for a few days, some relief from the hectic life in the suburbs.

Stay lit guys

Hey Budologist, plants looking really good! Ive wanted to make this hybrid also. Hopefully this season I will find space and time to do so. She's probably gonna be bushy as hell now that you topped her.

That looks nice. Seems to lean a little to the AO which will be good for yield. Any smell yet when you rub the stem?

Came home from an awesome weekend tasting all sorts of great, and not so great, wines.

Was very happily surprised when i got home to find two more females.

Another Timewreck (a lot more stretch than the other pheno) and the first LD50 female so far!!

I'm extremely stoked on the LD50 (Aliendog x Ripped Bubba).

So far the female seedlings are....

1 LD50
2 TimeWreck
1 Vortex
1 Querkle x Agent Orange
1 Lavender x Vortex

That looks nice. Seems to lean a little to the AO which will be good for yield. Any smell yet when you rub the stem?
The smell i'm getting from rubbing the stem is defintly a erkle/grapey/musky smell.

Its by far the shortest, stockiest plant i've got.

Thanx again bro.
