The Budologist's 2012 Outdoor Grow (TGA Forest)

I think scissor hash is my favorite. I know a lot of people will disagree with me.... but I'm standing by it. It tastes so good... It's the extra little present MJ gives to us while we're breaking our backs trimming her, lol.
 
scissor hash rocks..dried and cured it rocks hard!!. Hey Bud, judging by my Rommy right now, I'd say that your Rommy should be getting fatter and harder every day. Hope your harvest is going well.
 
seems like its over before it started bud but i bet your ready for it to bee over too you bee trimmin ur ass of man... gawd this season seemed ridiculosly fast! iv been running my indoor only, all summmer and its not soo bad guys not sooo bad
 
Here in Oregon we have to run box fans under each massive outdoor plant to combat mold. Save the Dank!

Gonna leave her till next week temps are heating up, 90 this weekend.

She had a bit of mold but I cut it out and will keep a close eye on her.
 
Bugologist- truly enjoying following your threads! But a question about your mainlining approach- you state that some strains respond better than others to this technique. Can you say a bit about what happens with a plant that does not respond well? What growth pattern results then?

Heres a few traits that result in a better main-lined plant in my experience, strong sturdy stems that don't need much added support, good node spacing (not too bushy so that light cant get through, and not too lanky where the colas flop all over), and single cola dominance as opposed to branches shooting out everywhere.

Its not that some plants don't respond well, its that some plants need extra care/maintenance I.E. pruning large leaves, extra support for branches and reinforcing weak points.

Some plants just take to it naturally like my LD50 #9 and Purp Bagseed.

Indica dominant hybrids work great to main-line with, not to say that sativas don't, you will just need to add a screen or some bamboo for support.



I think every type of plant can benefit from main-lining but you have to know that strain and be able to make tweaks and adjustments in order to succeed in your environment/scene.
