WHAT a sound. it sounds like the wheels retract!18 or so years ago I was in Seattle on a parts run in a large strip-mall place & I see this sign on one of the buildings that says "Offshore Powerboat Museum" & I had to look. All the old boats in there had Supercharged V12 Griffons, Merlin's, Packard's and the like - being a motor head I was blown away & as the only visitor in the place I was free to roam. At one point I was standing on Miss Hawaii's trailer looking down into the big ass J pipes & a guy shows up & asked me if I'd like to hear it run. I think I pee'd my pants a bit I was so excited !
He fired that thing up on the priming pump and it promptly blew my ball cap off & singed my eyebrows just that quick.
But I'll never forget the thunder that baby made.

just read that a motorcyclist was killed during the baja race... not clear on what happened, but early reports are that he was killed by a man made booby trap set by locals.
seriously, these people need to be caught and prosecuted to the fullest..
