Fox news also started and endlessly promotes the "grassroots" (more like astroturf) teabagger rallies. That "reality splicing" mentioned a couple posts above was to do with this, FOX news used footage from multiple protests to make a teabagger demonstration on capitol hill seem to be hundreds of thousands stronger than it actually was.
What do you really know about the teaparty? Well besides the pablum you have been fed by Bsnbc or the other left leaning media hacks.
I see that you use a Rachel Maddow quote," Astroturf" in place of Grassroots which gives me an idea of where you got your views.
I watch Faux news, bsnbc, CoNN, and read many left/right publications as well as a plethora of internet sites. I find they are all slanted as one should expect, after all they are the opinions of Humans, and humans are , well, human.

When i hear peopple say 'teabaggers' it makes me think that they really cant discredit them any other way. if the tea party movement is wrong then say what there wrong about it, dont call them names. Name Calling generally indicates to me that theres no other way to discredit them. it make you look foolish too, and im not just talking about the teabagger comments but any name calling on either side of the aisle. you follow, you know?

i don't call them tea-baggers. i call them what they are: angry white folks.
but why not call them tea-baggers... it's a name they lustily embraced just last spring.
what else would you call a bunch of morons who staple Lipton tea-bags to their hats and protest signs?

the tea party isn't a movement, it's a hornet's nest of semi-coherent anger
that has been riled up by corporate interests. i refuse to not ridicule that which is ridiculous by it's nature.
calling it a movement is obtuse and dishonest.

You would probably call the black teaparty members Uncle tom then.
You sound quite ignorant with your personifications straight out of the left leaning media hacks mouths. It is quite obvious you know nothing about the teaparty.

If the teaparty is so angry then show me any violence perpetrated by the teaparty to prove your allegations. Your use of the word obtuse is quite ironic considering you are exhibiting some seriously obtuse ASSertations.

what is an assertation?
anger does not always equal violence, i never said it did.
i have the luxury of being obtuse, i don't claim a "cause"

Ya? and where did you observe this at? Bsnbc? Bill Maher or any number of other media hack organizations. I was of the same attitude as you towards the teaparty. Then I did some research of my own and found out that the potrayal of the teaparty was pure media hackery. They are not just a bunch of wackadoons in hats with teabags attached, they are not just against taxes, they are not violent, they are not all angry, they are not all white and they are not all ignorant bumpkins with missplelled signs and racist attitudes.
They are against taxation without representation, they are against overbearing goverment, they are well educated, they are non-violent, they are White and black and brown, they are well organized and making a difference in the political spectrum. You might ask," Did you join the teaparty" No I did not join, I tend to stay out of groups but do have a lot of respect for them since I decided to actually find out about them for myself. Maybe you should do the same.
