Trying to find them but no luck yet.
I’m thinking I want to order a bunch for my new room.
Thanks
Thats technicly correct but if you follof the general awg advice given around here you should be fine with a little difference. The added cable adds resistance to the circuit and if theres a lot rhe 2 boards run at different voltage. But the difference would be so minimal that your more likely to have different voltage in 2 boards due to manufacturing. I wouldnt worry about anything less than foot, foot and a half. When I made up a light w/2x 288's, I daisy chained, and only the first lit up.
Someone helped me troubleshoot that, and also said that all the wires coming out of the powered wagos to the lights needed to be exactly the same length.
It's easy with 2x boards.
If that is important, Its.always.420 might want to take it into consideration.
For 16 lm301b with 660s she said $2200ish.https://m.alibaba.com/product/60812843783/Meijiu-quantum-board-800-Samsung-LM301B.html?spm=a2706.7835515.0.0.6c10757didDm5g
This link is for the kit, i usually just buy boards. Ask rita rit fotop.
Good eye. It was just the plastic cover, popped right back on.
Good advise, something most peeps (including meself) wouldn't think of. They're all within a few inches...good enough? When I made up a light w/2x 288's, I daisy chained, and only the first lit up.

If youre a bit strapped for cash i would go For lm561c and run it at 150. If iiremember the priceppoints rightr you get almost 2 lm561c (75$ eache for 1 lm301b boards (125ish $). We tried the lm301b boards and the difference at 250 w was very marginal. Infact of all the configs and spectrums of similar wattage we tried the one that really stood out was the soft driven boards close to eachother. Like around 5 inches between boards at 150 max. Even at 100w we had good intensity. At 150w about 8-12 inches we had great intensity and nice and even spread. Good intensity even at 24 inches. For 16 lm301b with 660s she said $2200ish.
$1674 for 12.
How did you hang all the boards? Did you make a frame or are they sturdy enough themselves? Is there a big difference in going with boards that have the extra reds? Rita said the lm561c don’t have reds but the lm301b do. Thanks for the info!If youre a bit strapped for cash i would go For lm561c and run it at 150. My recommendation when dealing with the china boards is to leverage diode count. Just get crazy amount of diodes, keep the boards without heatsinks (this will force you to run them softer than you would otherwise) and try to make sure you have board over 70% of your cannopy.
Id suggest 3 boards per 4x4, on a hlg480.
Better frame for flowering. You can hang them by them selves but you need to be a bit crafty: if you just hang them sttaight from the corners they will defo sag. You can do it by taking a line thru the corner and another hole and it works decent. Thats what we do for 1 per tray vegg setups and i works ok. For flower we framed them with a small space between, each board + space is about 16 inches. How did you hang all the boards? Did you make a frame or are they sturdy enough themselves? My other option would be going with 16 qb96s. They may end up being similar prices.
Great info man! Happen to have any pics? I have probably a month or so till I start this project. Building a grow room in a 10x11 room. Going to run 2 4x8 flood and drain tables.Better frame for flowering. For the frame: get some L-frame or T-frame, drill and stick together so that you can attach the boards on the bottom. Its easy peasy. We used wing nuts for attachment.
Yes that is it. I also asked if the 2 boards could be side by side not end to end and Mandy responded yes with pictures on separate heat sinks. I will just paste the email here without URL'sIs that the light ?
