The Chinese Quantum Board Knock Off Builds

Right on. The only part I'm having trouble with is whether or not to order the boards and build them up, or the whole kit. I think the boards are probably solid, but maybe it'd be better to sort out the rest from US suppliers, but of course that all adds cost. Anyway, it looks like there's a 10% coupon for 11-11, but it actually runs through 11-17, were you able to use it?

Yup, saved a lil extra.

About to purchase one also - what power plug for the wall did you get? There isn't a selection option so I assume they put one in based on the country its shipping to? I'm trying to ask this currently to the sales rep but her English isn't the best. Also an unbox review on youtube claims the holes weren't tapped for the driver on the one he got and had to do that himself...?
Mine came with a plug (US) and everything tapped. He must've gotten unlucky. I talked to a rep first and ordered and they ask ykur address. I would specify in notes what plug you need.

Yeah didn’t think about that. It’s already shipped so if worse comes to worse I can put my own plug on

Yeah. A lot of folks shopped there during the great cxb3590 rush! Some on here bought bulk and resold as a business.
A lot more folks on the payrole now though!
Bulk is the way to go if a few folks threw in together, I was looking at the eb gen2s 560mm 200count minimum was a little over 2 bucks apiece. Dont remember the exact price but just say 200 strips for around $450.

Thanks, Mofo! Meijiu doesn't seem to have a switch for UV, so I worried about the effects of it running full time. I'm still waiting to hear back from Vicky at KB about what diodes are even on the switch. Per Rocketsoul's suggestion, I asked about higher CRI options (not that I'll ever verify them, but never hurts to ask haha).

The Meijiu Fluence knockoffs (Majo v4) sound tempting, but I'm not sure I wanna be the guinea pig lol. Also not sure if CO2 supplementation is even an option rn.
Look at Baba on alibaba for separate uv switch very nice neat boards compared to kingbrite still good boards just not as neat wiring as Bava

You're talking about the LM301B, that you could see it diminishing over time because it doesn't have the coating? I think that's probably true, though maybe more/less so depending on how you run your grow space. I don't use sulfur and don't splash nutes around, but might do a spray every now and again and that could take its toll over time.
Keep in mind if you’re foliar feeding epsom for mg that magnesium sulphate contains sulfur.

i was planning on building a 6 board setup and spacing them out to get a somewhat even 800-1000 PPFD range across the whole 4x4 space. An experienced grower friend is helping with co2 addition which is why I want the highish PPFD Rating. From the mapping tests I’ve seen the 550’s fall short beyond the 3x3 range and I’m looking for complete light saturation for the tent.

I was going to add strips of blue and IR on the underside of the aluminum angle stock as well as add 4x13w uva/b CFL’s bulb fixtures in the appropriate spots.
