Oh ok, that sounds great! Can get a link to the kit you have
Honestly, just get12 of these board and heatsinks combos. I'd contact them too. A discount is probably in order for ordering 12 maybe?

Then get your drivers from an online dealer that's local and established for the 7yr warranty. Mean well rrwuir s you return their drivers through the vendor.

To be honest, there’s no end in site for the quarantine on mainland China at the moment. I spoke with Vicky from King Brite last night and she pretty much just said they can’t do shit until the government lifts the ban on offices and factories. It’s not just huebei or wuhan, it’s the whole country!

the V1’s from HLG are a solid price at the moment. Plus going with all white boards, if you add in the other parts of the spectrum you’ll have full control. I got boards with the 660 on a fixed channel since it’s my flower only light but wouldn’t want it on for veg

I think 2x320w fixtures would cover way better. Geeklights are nice ,but a little more pricey. I like Meijiu for service and options. Their heat sinks are 15mm 50% thicker than king bright or Geek light. I paid 175 plus shipping for the 320W kit. That's with the 301h and 660 Epi stars. So cheap I bought 3 for a 4x4 to dim them down.
Ive been wanting to switch to quantum boards from 600 watts of HPS. I was thinking of going for 2 320 watt boards for a 4x4 tent. Would that be sufficient from your experience?

That would be perfect for your 4x4. Just make sure the drivers are dimmable. I have 720w (3 x 240w kits) in my 4x4 currently at just below 600 at 16 inches and the plants are happier than a pig on a fishing trip.

Toke...zypheruk whatever hehe.
Agreed. No arguing is the world at its best, we all must be comfortable with our penis and clitoris sizes in this thread.

It will be more than a while, especially considering the true infection numbers weren’t shown prior to China introducing new methods of viral testing. You don’t hear it on the news as to keep fears down, but pretty much all of a China is shut down. The Chinese government has floated over a trillion dollars into their economy due to this coronavirus shut down. As fucked up as it is, if this doesn’t “blow over” we could literally be looking at a world wide recession due to China’s heavy involvement in nearly every global industry.

Is this light going to be a full cycle light or flower only?

You can go the hlg V1 route on that aswell as long as you can source sone alu. 6 boards and 2x240 should be enough, 320 if you want spare, or just buy another 240 if you want more juice later. China is going to take tine with corona. Hlg is a good sponsor and finally putting out boards that compete in price with china.

You can always come back and drops some strips in later.

Why are there maybe 100 different kingbrite qbs to choose from?
Say I want (2) 240w kingbrite qb288 with epistar 660nm and with or without IR/UV what is the best one to pick from?

Do I buy this?

or this?

or this?

The difference in price is quite substantial especially with shipping and the canadian dollar.

Any help would be great.

Prices are almost always not what they are on the page as advertised. You just need to get in touch with then through email and finish your order that way. Once you decide, you'll be e mailed an invoice to complete.

The issue is, what do I order exactly? Best bang for buck?
Out of the links you posted, the first one comes with Cree xpe2 660’s and the other two have the epistars. I went with the Cree 660 for my light and so far I’ve been very pleased. Nothing wrong with the epistars, just liked the Cree performance better.

I’d say the 240w kit with the epistars are your best bang for the buck.

I think the Cree put out more photons than the Epistars, from what I've heard.

I have 301B's w/ Epistar 660's. If I had the choice at the time I'd have gone with Crees or Osrams, everything I use of theirs is quality. Epistars not so much.

That’s what I’ve heard from other growers. They work but why not go for Osram or Cree if you have the option.
