what do u guys recommend for a 3.5x3.5ft (1x1m) upgrade from Blurple Bestvas ? they re too hot :| . I think the best option is chinese qbs?? And if yes, which ones, i read about Meijiu and Kingbrite being the best option, but ive seen other sellers on AliExpress which i know ships to EU and they are on par with the price of Alibaba, but idk if Alibaba ships to EU. Any help?
480w Meijiu kit. Pretty sure they ship to EU.
They do indeed but there might be higher shipping cost due to covid. And you would probably have to dim down to around 300w, or even lower. Personally (if i was alibubbing) i would get 4 single qb kits with no driver, build a frame and get a driver from tme in europe. Dont get a driver that needs too go back to china if it goes belly uup, that is daft.

But really, i prefer full diy and get only what i really need from ali. This is what im building for a friends 80x80 cm right now, but its really powered for a 1x1m. Vesta strips in 90cri for 3 separate spectrums (stretch control, full cycle and insane flower) + about 15% red supplementation in 660 and 630. Next one i might try to do 660 and uv 390 as supplementation. Almost 2800 diodes, dual drivers for controlling light intensity in perimeter and centre to avoid hotspotting.

Hey everyone, I got quoted a price of $760 including shipping but with an additional 2.95% credit card fee for the light below. In your opinion is it worth it? This is the style of light I like and don’t want to do much DIY-ing.

Meijiu 600W ETL Samsung lm301h led grow light bar with osram led chips, 180 degree Foldable grow light far red for indoor plants

I like the eight bar options from Hortikey and shenzen blaze tech. Both are at least 2.8 umols.

Hello everyone.
New member here, glad to join the forum.
I came here for this thread specifically, I have just ordered the geeklight geekbeast, a 6 bar set up similar to fluence spyderx design. It's only been out for a week and I am due to receive it next week I hope. 630 with UV and IR switchable. Par maps look outstanding, but remains to be seen.
I'll be back to give updates and carry on learning from your experiences with led

I'd totally pick these up to test out for the $600. but I'm in a 3x3 and those framed up are close to a 4x4....thinking I may just go hlg or one of those knockoffs from chy-na

i am liking my budget grow lights i bought.paid a little more but i think better than the kingbrite qb knock offs i have.with the higher cost of shipping from cina when i ordered it was an easy pick plus i got them in three or 4 dayshttps://www.budgetgrowlights.com/collections/lighting-for-large-sized-grow-spaces-4-x-4-or-larger/products/series-2-red-spec-350-watt-dimmable-grow-light

Thanks guys, I didn't realise it was an app link

Hope this one works. There's vids on YouTube too, not many but a couple showing its design and par map.
I was ready to order their qb lights but when this was released I opted for it, I like the average ppfd concept. My grow is around 2m x 2m so I'm hoping that 2 of these would give coverage of most of it, leaving an edge, to use as an area to store bucket and place fans etc.
If they are as powerful as they suggest then I think it will be overkill, but rather have the extra power incase my set up changes in the future.

They look good lights, always good to buy locally made stuff too incase of warranty claims. I'm just gonna pray to mother earth that these lights are quality and won't break or malfunction
