Hey gang I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right catagory so I'm going to post it in indoor growing as well. I just returned from the dollar store "Dollar General" where i found the most interesting gadget. It's a small car alarm style remote control that goes on your keychain and a receiver that plugs into an electrical socket. The transmitter has two small buttons on it on and off which control an outlet on the receiver. Its made by Stanley and i found it by the Christmas lights and extension cords. According to the package its rated at 1000 watts. I Figure having a kill switch in your pocket can't hurt right? Somebody shows up at your house and their getting a little to close to say the buzzing and whooshing coming from your indoor garden just reach into your pocket and shut it all down. Only Question i have is whether or not each unit operates on individual frequency's or there all the same.I figure Stanley being a decent brand there probably individual but I'm not sure so if anyone buys more then one maybe you could answer that question for me. The whopping price of this added little piece of security is $10. To me at least the peace of mind it will bring me is worth far more then ten bucks even if i never use it.
