Lets try not to bash on each other if its unnecessary - I do understand that some deserve it though =) ... the whole point of the thread was to be aware of such a tatic by DEA officals.. Because of the important ruling, law enforcement officals will be more BOLDEN and Daring to use these types tatics and others they deem fit to bring someone down... Remember, this ruling is a victory for not just the DEA but also other federal law enforcement agencies as well...For newbies (such as myself), this ruling will override any STATE Court ruling Regardless if its your district court, appellate courts, and your State Supreme Court - given that your state is under the juristriction of the Ninth Appelllate Court... So yes, its very important if one understand the significant on what enforcement can do and what they can't do... ...the Federal Ninth Appellate Court, like the orginal poster said, it affects everyone who live in those states which basically cover most of the west coast mmp states.. Let me also add that most of us don't have to worry about these tatics because we are not a big enough fish for the DEA to fry...Relax a little everyone and lets all get medicated, ya ???

As far as the decisions of the 9th circuit only effecting the states that are under jurisdiction...they hear cases from the region, but they are federal judges and their decisions effect the whole country.
