i wish you were right, but the republicans have too much invested to impeach trump, so it will just simply never happen. ever. just have to wait for the next election, which is what they should have done to begin with. trump "winning" the impeachment process will just give him more momentum in the election, he'll try to say that it "proves" that he's done nothing wrong. it's just serving his purposes to even bother with impeachment.
his polls continue to slip, his approval rating continues to drop, there's no way he can win another election, unless the dems do something insanely stupid and play into his "strengths"...

Polls show Trump behind in the battle ground states,and sinking. Despite his bogus claims that impeachment has caused a swing to his advantage, the numbers show the process is taking a toll. 51% support removal. That number is up.

im not even really talking about those polls, makes no difference what the people want, in the impeachment process it matters what McConnel wants, and he wants to keep trump, because getting rid of him is them admitting they fucked up in the first place, and republicans CANNOT admit they fucked up, no matter how bad they did, or still are....
i'm talking about the polls that ask who would you vote for, and the presidential approval rating polls...neither are looking good at all for trump...

I loved Castor's response: hiring lawyers for these inquiries is too expensive for the pro Trump witnesses.

I agree . Obstruction of Congress will seal the deal. If he had nothing to hide and the phone call was perfect and he was acting in the best interest of our country why was he obstructing Congress ? In the impeachment trial how will Republicans dispute this fact? All the evidence is here to impeach. So if he does not get impeached then what is the point in impeachment anymore. If he doesn’t get impeached then impeachment does not work and needs to be replaced with another method.

The democrats know full and well he wont be impeached, that was never the point. The point of this impeachment hearing is for a few reasons.
To help justify their next lose they have seen coming for a while now.
To try and taint his reputation ahead of the election and push the agenda that he conspired with a foreign country so after he wins the next election they have reason to keep pursuing impeachment.
And they were really hoping since they have absolutely nothing to run on besides trump hate that it may help push some voters to them, but as we are all seeing the longer this goes on the more his support keeps rising among all demographics.

No point in showing up to Congress to attend a circus when everyone knows it will go nowhere, it would be a waste of time and change nothing.

This way they can switch to new investigations that they want like the border, Khashoggi, Kavanaugh, etc I am sure there is at least one more K they have out there to investigate.

And it forces Trump to either bow down to their investigations or publicly obstruct once again, which is more bad press for him going into the elections.

And the Democrats just announced a passed new NAFTA. Proving Trump is the problem once again with getting things done for our country.

Then why hasn't the witness that actually started this came forward? Why has no one not a single person said they witnessed him do anything or say anything illegal?

Yeah I don't believe him. I believe Pelosi when she said that Trump basically just threw an agreement down that was half done because he is incompetent and left it up to Nancy to get it whipped up into something actually beneficial. Trump is a joke.

The point is that he broke the law pure and simple. Impeachment is to keep him from doing it again in another election. Taint his reputation like he tainted Hillary's ahead of 2016? He's got nothing to run on, because he's do nothing Donny, so he try's to fuck elections like his own daughter.He's too chicken shit to show up, and get defend himself because he's guilty.He claims to be ahead in key states when polls show he's behind,and it's because of impeachment. That's why he lies about a big swing that doesn't exist.

Trump won't submit to the subpoena's. It was him you were talking about right? He is the one that started all of this trying to troll the Democrats and illegally withheld the whistleblower complaint longer than he was legally allowed.

It is not the whistle blowers fault Trump broke the law.
