Place four round pots into a square, you'll see some wasted space, look at that as volume, missing volume. A square pot, the same inches as a round pot will hold more soil than the round one. I am talking about root space.
Peace

How do round pots waste space? Thanks

Yeah, I got to go back and get more. My neighbor was just teasing me....saying look dude, your deck is full of empty planters, why did you buy more? LoL He's learning though.
Peace

Dollar Tree is the bomb. Everything there really is a dollar. I got light bulbs, mylar, and pots there.
Be careful with lights you buy at Dollar Tree/99c Store (I'm assuming you're referring to the multi-pack CFL's they carry). They are cheap, yes, but you get what you pay for. I thought I was getting a bargain at three bulbs for a buck. I bought nine and eight of them blew up - one actually caught fire - within a week.

I've been doing the 98 cents, 99 cents and dollar store for years now. I discovered the 98 cents store at least 12 yrs ago and there has been no looking back since:weed:

I saw a bunch of 1 gallon plastic buckets with handles at Dollar Tree the other day. I almost bought all of them but talked myself out of it. I'm still trying to find cheap square buckets. I should have got them anyway. They were even black plastic, would be perfect.
