I have started a few old seeds purchased years ago. The strains are Iranian Early Flower Bx, Guerrilla Gold #2, Supa Freak, Frisian Duck, Blackberry Kush.

IEF - This strain was breed by crossing a blue family strain to Drgreenthumb's Iranian Autoflower then bx back to IAF. To make regular seeds.

Guerrilla Gold #2 - An old Canadian very early outdoor strain.

SupaFreak - Fast version of Freakshow

Frisian Duck - Webbed leaf hoping for puple flowers

Blackberry Kush - Hoping for purple flowers.

Gotta be prepared for stink

I want to travel back to a simpler time. A time when auto and semi-auto strains where being discovered.

When I was 15 I joined a online forum called cannabis culture where there were growers with outdoor grow journals from various places around the world. The ones most interesting though were a group from Canada growing a very fast strain finished by August 30th. They called it a semi-auto strain it was Guerrilla Gold.

Years later before Lowryder was discovered I read about another interesting strain called Auto Afghan. It was called "auto" afghan because it would automatically flower whenever planted outside from clone. Basically you had to veg 24/0 to the size you wanted it to start flowering then plant out. It has been speculated Iranian auto flower was a S1 of auto afghan. So when I heard about Iranian Early Flower bx from OGS I had to have the seeds even if outdoor growing was not in the cards at the time.

Autoflowering cannabis started out as short, fast, and stealthy plants anyone could grow at home. Starting with the original Lowryder it had 14 or less days of veg. Then selectively over time breeders breed towards longer veg period. Now we have to grow 4' tall plants and wait 15 weeks to harvest. Not so stealthy, fast, or short. The point im trying to make is at one point in time 60 day seed to stoned would have been possible.

I have seen 14-21 day pheno's of Purple Jem in previous grows. At the time I thought nothing of it discarding them. What a mistake! Now I want to start a stabilization journey to first find a 2 or 3 week pheno of jem and stabilize it.

Here is what an early jem pheno looks like

Goals

First - is to hopefully find a male/female IEF Bx to make more seed. I only had 3 seeds left and Two are healthy plants in the dresser one nutrient burnt in another thent. I'll collect cuttings from each before reducing light cycle so the strain lives on if the unfortunate happens.

Second - I am planting a bunch of jem in 6" pots in order to find a quicker 2-3 week male/female pair to breed with. Most later phenos will be culled on day 25.

Third - Cross Blackberry Kush and SupaFreak with either GG2 or IEF.

Long story short I quit smoking cigarettes a month ago and don't want to smoke tobacco anymore even in a blunt. After googling tobacco-less blunts I ended up purchasing a variety pack of King Palms from amazon. Will find out tonight if I like the Banana Cream palm.

The nicest smoke I've grown so far was Easy Haze from Philosophers Seeds. The taste was nice, it was no cough smooth, and the buzz was nice. I've got a couple seeds still but there are so many other strains...

Congrats on trying to get off of tobacco and the crap they add.

The king palms are nice but kinda expensive if you smoke all day like me.

The dresser cab turned into a 3x2 tent since the fan was overkill and I needed more space. Haven't done an update on the photo's for a bit so here they are. I transplanted most of them into 7x7" pots but there are 3 left not pictured because they haven't started flowering yet due to being too young (practically 12/12 from seed).

Here's an overview there are 2 Geurilla Gold missing from this picture

Lastly we have the Blackberry Kush absolute slowest plant to flower of them all.

I'm hoping for a purple pheno from either the Frisian Ducks or Blackberry Kush.
