The fan leaves?

I see lots of posts about how to cure the buds but what about the fan leaves? How do we deal with those? Is it a good idea to put them in a brown paper bag and let them cure in the attic hanging the bags from the rafters like I see some people do with herbs?

Yeh well...this baby got huge but unfortunately a male snuck in somehow and corrupted the big baby and now the buds are all seeds..wahhhhhhhhh..so whats left besides the imaginary buds I keep seeing are the fan leaves. Sumpin's better'n nuttin'. OK..so now I'll have a gazillion seeds so I shouldn't cry too hard I spose..wahhhhh.
Each branch is heavy as can be...maaannnnnnn would this have made some nice buds. Damn it!!

Fan leaves? You serious? Do you see any crystals on them? Don't smoke fan leaves. I imagine they're more damaging than helpful. The only high you'll get is from burning plant matter and replacing your much needed oxygen with useless smoke. Better'n nuttin...not quite. You could try to make hash though.

sumpins to better than nothing you idiot grow the right sex plant before smokin anything

Add them to some compost and plant the seeds in it next year. You're shit out of luck for smoke from that plant. Sorry dude.

I take all my trim, small lower buds, fan leaves, and stems, and grind it all up in a blender or coffee grinder. Then I make butane hash out of it.

geez man. way to scare the noobie.... to be fair it started the right sex. these things happen. OP should be careful though, and be sure to scrub down the flower room before his next go.

plain and simple OP. If the leaf has sugar on it, it MIGHT be better than nothing. if its a sugarless, fat fan leaf, it wont do anything except for a headache and maybe a bit of drowsiness from smoking the chlorophyll. if i were you i would just let her finish. then break it all up and remove the seeds. sure it wont weigh much, sure it wont be that potent, but if there was anything on the plant that was at least SLIGHTLY worth smoking, it would be those calyxes after they've been de-seeded. i would say, de-seed and smoke the buds, throw away your fan leaves for gods sake, and take ANY sugar you can find and save it for some sort of hash, if not enough then just dry them and smoke them on top of your de-seeded herb.

Guys im new to growing but i have been smoking fan leaves todsy and got a buzz doing so

its called oxygen deprivation buzz.
You could also hold your breath for a minute and then breath in from a burning paper bag to get the same "high".
