Isn't the fv of those xpes 1.9-2.1? So @ 350ma's, wouldn't you need 3 (not 2) to get to 1.9w? Because each one at 350 is running them at .63W.

I'd place mine up high in the 4 corner of the room 8' ceiling some in the middle as well
have them radiate at an angle down into the room to get to most of the leaves ( i seen a G/H set-up like that )
just wanna get good coverage as I do a high gro
I got some reclaimed heatsinks i can put some of my cool elbows that will swivel to aim
those tri pcb are cheaper @ Cutter than radpid LED

So in other words, 3 of the 3 chip solder less ones? So you think 4 would be what a 4x4 needs?

Bonjour
Not this one...I saw other one solderless...I guess it was a star with big contactor on both side with one diodes per star...I guess 9 x 0.5w diodes and 12 well spaced would be enough at the height I want to use it!
If I stay 12/12 all along with 730nm at light out (5mn with light on and 10mn with light off because of my timer) how many days I will save on a 70days strains?
What is the best to take...time or weight?

Yep.

1. Relay is triggered by main circuit shut down at lights off
2. Timer gets signal from relay and powers up the fr leds for 600 seconds (10 min)

I had two days of flower light regime before hooking up the fr leds, but other than that I have two previous runs with identical seeds and conditions with lots of pics and dates all through the grow process, so there's a good chance I'll spot the differences, if there are any.

This is the timer: http://www.ebay.com/itm/231728005174?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

And I found the relay in a box of old electronics, but this looks very similar at first glance: http://www.ebay.com/itm/12V-DC-10PCS-5Pins-RELAY-Coil-Power-Relay-PCB-SRD-12VDC-SL-C-/272079662154?hash=item3f59362c4a:g:rqYAAOSwKrhVWq9p

The relay is powered by a 12V charger and it connects the wires to the fr-timer when the 12V is shut off along with the rest off the power at lights off. I can post a diagram or something later.

If one were going to order cree xp-e far reds, and drive them with the lpc35-700, how many led stars would you want to effectively cover a 4x8 area? I appologize if this info is already covered, im thinking i might juat get 14 stars and make 2 bars 7 each, almost like pontoons around my cxbs. Also this would be wired in series...correct?

Hey guys just put in some new 730nm light in my place!

I have a question, I used to use GE reveal lights that I was recommended and I sprayed during the GE on time. Now can I still spray during the new 730nm on time?

Basically can 730nm burn plants with oils?

And another big one I can't figure out. Can I go blind from working in 730nm light?

Thanks guys you do alot!

You should juSt get 3 of the tri pcbs from cutter. So 6 total being 18 individual xpes.

I am not sure tri pcb is the way to go with 730nm!
You just need spread...so put 3 light source close to each other is a waste in this case...
I guess momo pcb would be better to get a good coverage...9 for a 4x4 so 18 (I agree with airwalker) but individual!
