The far red thread

Yeah, good decision, bro! With LED its already a learning curve cuz you need different enviromental settings to keep VPD and temps in an optimal and healthy range. And you can grow huge trichome loaded plants even without UV and far-red. Its a kind of fine tuning and its better to know what you can expect without UV/FR before you start it.
I took the opposite approach...works, too...plants seem to like light...go figure!

I would take the SSL120 horti version of the far-reds. Horti's are s3s4 bin(250mW) SSL150 is s2s3 bin(225mW). The Square diodes have also a 120° beam angle and costs would stay the same.

I asked led.tech ssl 120 far Red horti because they have better efficiency/bin, and they put me ssl 150 far red instead

I think/ hope because they have better bin to propsose me xD

Good luck with PDF^^

Yeah, Osrams bin codes are a pain in the ass especially because you can order only groups and no bins and groups can contain more than one binning. But one thing you can easily see in the datasheets, S3 bin/224-250mW is the lowest available far-red bin while T2 has up to 355mW.
Thats a huge difference(+50%)!
Usually the horticulture series are made from the better bins also when there is no bin mentioned in the descriptions.
Only very few customers gets special selections of Osram diodes for instance SanLight or the NASA. The rest have to life with whats available, lol! The only advantage of the SSL150 is its uniform distribution, it is unbeatable at short distances (<8 ") but for all other applications yoju better take the horti's in SSL120.

Day 22 from 12/12

Og Gogi 3

Og Gogi 2

Cheestral

Og Goji 4 (5 gallon)

I had some problems with the tank that I forgot to close ... water everywhere in the box. I had a spray of neem oil to apply before the end of the stretch, I waited to the maximum but I had some leaves burned on the Gogi 1 and very slight burn on the edges of the leaves of the Gogi 2 .

I turned on the reds days 19, the plants seem to have liked the extra reds immediately, the Cheestral remained very compact I've never seen it like that ^^, she started catching up with the others when I turned on the reds .
