The GHS White Grow

I have two newborns already. Expecting to see more in the morning. I spent the past week trying to find new containers for these guys, I wanted something that would hold a gallon of soil, but be no wider than six inches across (So they all fit under my lights). I couldn't find anything I was happy with. Thought about three litre soda bottles, couldn't find them either. So - and I know the technology is really gonna blow your minds, guys - I took their empty water jugs, cut the tops off, drilled holes in the bottom and wrapped them in duct tape. Tada! lol At least they'll be easy to cut open when it's time to transplant!

They look like they will be a bitch to transplant personally, go with bag pots, easy transplant even if you dont want to cut the bag open

^^^^^ DE your local nursery will order anything in you want or look into kinny bonded whare house and order the tall thin relatively cheap pots on line

Yeah I didn't think about on-line ordering for pots, have to keep that in mind for next time. I checked all of my local places, but as the growing season is done here, most places have very little planting materials left, and again, I didn't think about on-line. Oh well. The babies are getting planted today. Only nine of them sprouted - all that germinated in the napkins first. The remaining three still haven't done anything. Is there anything i can do to help these along, if they aren't bad? One White Rhino and two White Widow left unpopped.

I hear ya, lots of the stores in my area have very little this time of year. There are some sweet 2 gallon pots that are squares, and only 6X6 inches. Expensive though... probably about $5 a piece. Looks good..... are you really a woman? If so kick ass, not enough women in this world.......

lol Yes, I really am a woman - last I checked anyway. (I suppose my hubby would be pretty suprised if I wasn't);-)
If I keep on planting 12 I'll have to look in to getting some better planters.

So the little ones are all replanted into their ghetto homes. My other two Widows were sprouting this afternoon, as well - that makes 11/12 seeds that sprouted for me, I can live with that. The last (Rhino) disappeared, I didn't even find the seed. Maybe it was just a ball of coating without a seed.

Thanks! Yeah my hubby is always curious, interested in what I'm up to next, or wanting me to tell him why I did a certain thing. It's nice to have a cheering section, someone that wants to hear what I've learned.:-P He desperately wants to try to build me an aeroponics unit - but I'm just not ready to go there yet.;-)

Yea I haven't gotten hydro of any sort down...... Once I understand more of what the plants need I will give a DWC table a try, or ebb and flo tables that I have. I am kind of hesitant to start wasting a bunch of nutrients trying my hand at it, although I am tired of spending 100's of dollars on soil, nontheless lugging it into my house....... What kind of light are you flowering under?

Two 400w HPS lights.

Nice. My current grow started with (2) 400w lights. Sun System 400w HPS, and a 400w MH in a Xtra Sun Hood. Decided to go for a 1000w(now in the Xtra SUn) , and then use the 400w MH for veg( and bought a 42" parabolic reflector), SUn System got sold. Have you seen MyGTOs Montana Medical Grow (Organic). He used 2 400w HPS flowering and had some badass results....... Im definitely watchin this one

Nope haven't seen it, gonna have to go check it out now.:leaf:

Day 14:
Two weeks from seed today, they are growing well. I'm going to give them all some Superthrive and molassas tomorrow, when they get watered. PH is up a little high, not enough to worry, but I'll be keeping an eye on it.

My two late bloomers are still behind - and my little mutant started to grow finally, so I'm giving her a chance! First three pics are the White Rhino, next three pics are the White Widow (including a closeup of mutant), and last, LA Woman/Sour Cream pic. Hoping they are big enough to top next week.:peace:
