Well my plants wont even grow. Time to give them something beside the lazy un ph'd water routine.
Only 15 days behind most of you but feels & looks like a month .
Ugh. I knew the monos don't germinate & I held off on the cob cuz the fan doesnt work unless the monos are on. Must be a bad relay or something .
Anyways, finally put a small fan ontop of the casing. Its plugged directly into the light itself, daisyd, so it comes on when the light does.
No pics to laugh at today folks.
I see many of you have some nice puppies there. Gonna be a contest alright.

Just foliar w/ 70% alchohol, hopefully that does the trick.

I have read on a few occasions In this thread the Dawg saying we can do some stuff if put to a vote.
With that said, I am asking to change out my light? It's just to much. I'd like to use 2 of the same light I used last yr. 5 yr. Old 40w Lowes shop light.
Would this be ok with everyone here or at least the majority?

Yeah, I can't deal with that much light for the next 4 months. Just wanna use my lil shop lights. Was really happy with it last yr & I only had one. I'll have the worst lighting in the comp. But am asking everyone be ok with the switch!

Rules are rules man. Stick with the same light. If we let you switch than everyone else will have a reason to have a one time pass to break the rules.
You can still make a come back. Is that coco youre in?

From my side you have an okay! These Amare fixture especially is a beast an would need more distance with COBs switched on and the monos alone seems to cause issues.

2 of my Amnesia Bluedream gals already have popped a few pistels. The 3rd one (which was kissed by the holy trinity) is a bit slower and seems to have more indika. We can still keep them all until the last one also shows some pistels. No need to choose the first one.
So when not this than next weekend it's time for me to separate the winner of that winner-winner chicken dinner.

If he wants to reduce the light incident on his plant there are many ways of doing it without changing the light. This is part of the competition, making a selection and going with it. Last year I had a piece of lexan filled with water between the light and plants for the first few weeks.

Damn little clip on fan slipped when adjusting it. Have a rubber band on all my little clip on fans now.
Good news or bad was the soil and top dressing that fell out had a ton of fungus gnats. I had no idea so many were in there. The good news is I might have neglected dealing with them this soon if they didn't fall over.

Pics were right before watering. Not looking to great today. Temps in the tent may have gotten a bit to high.
Not the best week for them but I'm just going to try to keep them alive one day at a time.
Hopefully the watering with H2O2 they are about to get doesn't do them in.
Excuse me while I go find my mosquito Dunks.

Use a product called “microbe lift bmc” it has bti, bacillus thuringensis sub species Israeliensis. I think it’s the same thing as what’s in the dunks but it’s way more concentrated. Only need like 6 drops for a bad infestation and that should kill them unless they are somehow resistant.

Come on bro - wire snips!!
Do what ya gotta do to get just that center cob running, or as mentioned by others, block some of the light sources if too intense. Maybe a $1 store cookie sheet with a hole in the middle letting just the center cob shine through?

I would say, when the majority says it's okay...okay!
If they say no.. that's hard but would be okay too.
So in the end it depends on the reason.

Some of you seriously don't want me downgrade? If I had actual plants here I'd understand but my plants are where you guys were on the 20th of last month. They look like they just broke ground 2 days ago but have been just sitting there frozen.
