Hey mygirls. you've got some major bushiness going there! Out of curiosity what are you growing this time around? It looks like they haven't started flowering yet (or maybe just the first week?) so I'm guessing something heavily sativa? My outdoor plants are currently ~ 4 (1 might be maybe 5 weeks as she's starting to fill in colas) into flower and I think I get the more or less the same dark/light as you (mind you, the 3 in mid flower are shaman which supposedly finishes in early sept.) On the other hand I have a *VERY* sativa girl (sannie's Jack Herer) that I really shouldn't try to grow outside here, but she's just now starting flowering (I *HOPE*) if so it should be ready about mid november if I can keep the mites down and the cold off the girls should be a good first outdoor harvest (next year, I'll plant in the dirt, using 20# fabric containers cost me precious head room, I didn't expect to have to worry about the 9/9.5' greenhouse cover with such "small" pots.
Oh well, it's a good first attempt, next time I grow on this side of the house I'll be preventive with my sm 90 applications as opposed to waiting until I need to use it. Thankfully I got a clone of the jack that i can grow indoor in september when I pop the sugar cookies (girl scout cookie x chocolate chunk).
I *really* hope oregon legalizes come november, so we can get rid of this 6 blooming at a time, I prefer to grow fairly small plants and have a lot of variety.....

Thought I'd show the (so-so) pics I took of my most advanced Shaman today. She seems to want to finish a full two weeks before the others.... All of the thick(ening) buds you see are from the one girl, she responded well to being topped fairly late in veg apparently..... Sorry for the lack of quality but the quasi greenhouse really mucks with my cell phone's light sensor. (downside of a strong diffusing film I suppose... upside is they haven't melted 
)

Self edit (wish we could edit posts way later....) nope, if legalization happens (extremities crossed) the limit is 4 mature plants PER HOUSE. I thought like colorado it was per adult. So it seems to be able to do 8 indoors I'll need to keep my medical stuff up to date.... Still, one hell of a step in the right direction. Considering how oregon has tweaked the MMJ program I have faith that number might rise to per adult. (knock wood)
Alex: awesome pic! I really need to use netting next round outside (and as my jack herer is still not showing signs of blooming, perhaps listen when people warn about the uber long blooms
) Oh well, am about 2-3 weeks from harvesting 3 of the 4 outside, and the hot temps are starting to fade so it is time to start the beans for the indoor season and get a tent or two setup... At least I've got a clone of the jack so I WILL be able to taste it, even if mother nature freezes my poor little (7'?!?!?!?) girl in the height of flower. Mind you the weather people are predicting a much warmer winter than usual for this area, so perhaps I'll get lucky, if so I can do a nice comparison between indoor and outdoor smoke of the same plant

I hope you're wrong but we'll see in nov (or I suppose in 2016 since they get a year before the selling/licenses/taxes kick in if memory serves).
As far as tweaks go I was talking about how as it was originally (1998 ) created patients were allowed no more than 3 mature plants (7 total plants) with "4" ounces of cannabis (1 on the person 3 on the really low yielding mature plants apparently!) as opposed to our current 6 / 18 / 24o limits which were enacted by the state's congress in 2005 (after voters rejected in 2004 a ballot measure to make dispensaries and raise the limits.) Then the most recent tweak that comes to mind is the whole Medical Marijuana Dispensary Program which was once again created by the state's congress after failing to pass in proposition form. To me Oregon's congress has shown every sign (even to the whole <1 ounce quasi legality way back when) that they are more in favor of marijuana than the people who actually turn out and vote. (er, turn in and vote since it's by mail here). So I think if the voters do actually go for (partially) full blown (and fairly low taxed at that!) legalization, then in the years ahead the state's congress will improve upon it.
I'm just not sure if this state's voters will approve it (even with all of the groups that have so far announced support supporting it....) but yet again I will vote in favor of legalization and that counts for something (very very small mind you, but something none the less.)

I thought 4 plants per household seemed a bit low, since I grow the majority of my yearly supply outdoors, in Summer. I don't grow monsters, either, so 4 only, just won't cut it.

Nice main buds! On the three shaman I've harvested I ended up with an average of "only" 5.5 ounces per plant. Not too shabby from a 20 gallon pot. Hoping the jack herer will be closer to 7 ounces when it's ready in a few more weeks (so far no freezing temps on the horizon, woot!) Which should last me until next harvest with the inside experiments to give me a bit of variety.
Next year I will plant in the ground and install netting for support I think. Should bump it closer to 10+ per plant (though also growing different plants chosen from this year's indoor experiments so we'll see...)
