Yeah I like to drop it . When the buffers are spent in your soil the Ph can wander , I like to keep an eye on it after week 4 especially since I discovered that my 6wk PE had just nute locked on me . I flushed it the other day with low ph water and it stayed low , never bufferred back up so I had to flush her again with some 6.5 water .The next day the PH had returned , so I,ll be top dressing some dolomite lime on her to keep it in check .I usally never check PH but now that I'm into flushing I discovered that problem .You always here "I grow in soil I never check PH" not good advice to follow .It's def best to water or feed with 6.5-.8 water all the time and definatly start checking soil PH after week 4 in flowering .
1 cup powdered dolamite lime per 1 cubic foot soil or soiless no more ph worries...well too acidic ph anyways
