PH meter arrived this morning.
calibrated and took some readings
Base water 8.6
Left hand tank just being PHd to around 6.0
Right hand tank 4.6 strangely enough and it's been running like that for who knows how long. Only changed nutes 3 days ago. Strange.
Who was that who piped in with run @4.0 wasn't that you Wastei? well is 4.6 close enough.
Right hand tank looks sweet as for the low PH.
Sample of nute @2.0 EC. Is 5.8 on PH

Just why right hand tank is running a low PH is a bit baffling. As the growth medium total is 2 X 1 inch rockwool blocks. Took the readings about ten times made no difference. But hey ho run with it for the time

Readings this morning
Left tank 5.96 PH E.C.1.0
Right tank 5.62 PH E.C 1.6 brought PH up by using control nute measure rather than dump it

Right tank PH has dropped again after adding the control nutrient to bring it up
4.64 last night 4.77 this morning ( only using a cheapo pen don't expect it to be that accurate on the . Numbers)
EC 1.6 last night 1.2/4 this morning so it's using Nutrient.
Left tank pH 5.86 last night 5.84 this morning
EC .8/10 last night .8 this morning so that ones coming back as well
That's how they look today defoliation coming up Monday I should think

Morning time for another defoliation have nests in the right hand tank to sort out.
EC yesterday 1.2/1.4 today 1.2 so it's using nutes
PH yesterday 4.77 today 5.23
According to Wastei. I have a PH issue
To me it's an issue if it's causing a problem.
The plants look fine no deficiencies so no issue?
PH will be noted and only changed by addition of nutrients
Left tank now here's an issue well an truly cocked up but coming back PH ing has made little difference So far.
Yesterday E.C .8 day before .8/1.0 that's using nute added a little bringing reading back to .8/1.0 P.H 5.84 added some pH down to get reading

It's only been a few days but readings are starting to show a pattern
Left tank E.C 0.8 was too low yellowing leaves out more. They have had root recovery time anyway.
Sunday added some nutrient brining it up too .8/1.0 leaves started to green watched them cos of burn Mon added some nute EC 10/12 leaves greening a bit more.
Because of nutrient being PHd at a low EC this has now lowered PH.
Expect P.H. to drop further if I raise EC more if it needs will change nute as don't want to add PH up

Fri EC was a ok sat EC dropped showing using nutes have allowed EC to drop only adding a little on Saturday.
PH has risen with fresh nute and water

Preflip defoliation on the left tank hit it a bit heavy removing yellowed leaf and a lot of short sprouts that won't do anything.
Right tank is starting to nest in places that will get a defoliation on flip day Thursdays looking good

Suffering a low pH reading have changed nutrient
To a soft water formula
Used Ionic before but they have stopped the hardest because it contains acid and they want to be seen as a proper company. Every other fooker uses it
But there you go
It's nice and easy 1 part

Did a Nutrient change today as PH readings using hard water formula had taken it way to low
Soft water formula had given me
With no PH acid 7.38 the other PH down too 6.33 atm
