Well, the sub-forum would be nice; but this is too. I like knowing I can come to your thread for answers. And just like LumberJack, I go to the New Posts link to see what's what.

As soon as I get a deceit camera, I will post some pictures of the explosive growth I have found with your system.

someone was asking for rootball pics right?
ya that was me:mrgreen:

thanks ian :D

it looks like the bottom part where the res is didnt have much roots:confused: because in the pic it looks like there was perlite still stuck on the bottom and hence no roots grabbing on and pulling it up:confused:

idk, maybe a wrong observation. thanks again for the pic bro:blsmoke:

nope... thats about right... the roots set nicely in all the medium above the rez... but only a few roots here and there grew down below the drainage hole...

yes as you can see that the main root cluster sits just above the resi while the perlite an a few tap roots wick up the real water the plants gonna use....no root rot there or root bind....peace az

im not sure if you guys posted this or not (dont really feel like reading the whole thread again) , what size perlite do you use? i know it can come in different grades.......... im guessing the course stuff might be a little too course to wick up the moisture???????

thanks:peace:

on a side note....what lumberjack is talking about is making moms into bonsie's an they have there place in small PERSONALL grows but imo for our application i think the moms should be kept in at least 1 gal bins at least when where done with seeds cause were gonna need tons i mean TONS of clones regularly an i dont think them small plants can keep up......peace az

hempy help please.... as you guys knowI took my flowering females out of DWC and put them in HB's, the larger of my plants seems to drink the res dry everyday and when the lights come on it is very droopy (from underwatering) does this mean my container is too small I have the res 1.5" from the bottom and its a 1 gallon container this just started happening the last 2 days, should I be concearned or maybe up the watering to 2 times a day??? I have read that plants go on a feeding frenzy when they start to bud
