you want to yeild what a couple oz per plant...first its strain specfic you can have great varibles but if you strain is genitically low yeilding then your still not gonna get a huge yeild....now under optimum conditions i would go with 6 1 gal size plants an eather get a strait 600hps or a 400 an keep the 250 going still...light is also key to yeilding....i would veg the plants assuming your starting from all fems to the height of 12inches then switch to flower....this way imo if done correctly you should yeild 1-2oz dry per plant.....peace az

6 plants per week sounds pretty manageable, thanks. I'm thinking three mothers all a different strain, but I hear that can cause logistic issues due to different growth rates, etc... so I'll stick top just one mom at first.

I would love to be able to get 6 plants every 2 weeks doing the SOG method, it would be nice but it would never happen my area is to small I have a cloning/Mother/Veg area that is 2x2x4tall and I use it to make 6 clones from a mother then I veg there for 2-3 weeks then transplant them over to my flowering area that is 3x2x5tall and I grow them under a 250hps till ready... I am thinking about adding some blue led panels i seen online to my veg area to increase productivity and efficiency, as well as red panels in my Flowering area for the same reasons.. I still need a place to put the buds after harvest anyone know a real cheap and quick box setup for that like under 30 bucks...

ok help me out with this sog stuff, I have 4 plants that I put on 12/12 10 days ago, they just showed female parts today.... all 4 of them, if I want to get a sog operation going, should I revert them to veg?? or just take a clone from each??? I dont totally understand how this works but I want to try.... all help appreciated..... oh or both take a clone and refert to veg??

it's to late to toake a clone u need to take clones before they start to flower, you should of taken clones of the plants then put main plant to flower after she shows she was a female u let the clones live if it was male you kill the clones... So basically it's to late to clone.. :-? At least I think it is..

no offense, but that cant be correct, I know you can put a plant in 12/12 to show sex and then revert the entire plant back to a vegatative state.... but my question is on the logistics of a sog operation, very simply, do I just keep mothers, and use clones from them to flower?? If so how long can or should I keep the same mother??

Thats why I said I think at the end, lol... I have seen a SOG setup where person had 5 mothers took 4 clones from each mother and was getting 20 plants going every 3 weeks or so, basically he had 20 plants ready for harvest every 3 weeks :mrgreen: Would be nice.. Remember if a mother is on her last days and she isn't looking healthy you can always replace her with one of her healthy clones..

I wish I had enough room for a SOG setup but all I can do with my space is 8 plants one mother and 8 clones :cry:

thats what I want to do.. ok so I am just going to harvest what I got but I am going to germ 4 seeds today and hope to get a 2 mothers out of them so I can have them ready to go when I havest this current batch

I have 2 plants going now in soil. I'd like to switch them over to a hemp bucket. I'm worried about transplant shock. They're a bit droopy as is (my theory is overwatering), would it be OK to transplant one of them?

You can try and transplant just clean of as much dirt as possible without damaging roots then put in 1-5 gallon bucket (Hempy Bucket Setup) alittle bit of soil should not matter with the 100% perlite, so you should be good, give it a shot with one and see what happens..

hey cirrus glad too see you here, go ahead and do the transplant, 2 of my plants started in soil, then went into a dwc, and is now happy and producing buds in hempy buckets... go for it you wont regret it

What size hempy buckets you use and whats your yield? I have 1-5 gallon and 8-2gallon buckets nothing growing yet waiting for my bubbleponics setup to come to harvest first..

I have a 5 gallon bucket...yield...I have no idea, this is my first grow. But here I go, I've already got my hole drilled. Wish me luck
