Yes we do need a government, this country would collapse and fail without it... our military would go rogue and do whatever they wanted... face it, a necessary evil. It is the way of the world, and always will be... it's called greed, for money and power... threaten that and hell breaks lose.
 
Yea socata I have to disagree with you. i'm a grown man capable of making my own decisions. I need no assistance in making decisions on how to run my life or what i feel like doing. I would be off living in the woods and lose all contact with society if I could, but I couldn't do it alone because you can't reproduce with only one person :) i'm done in this thread, it's just going to go back and forth over the same ideas. Sorry pothead. <3

Disagree on what? You think everyone is gonna pack up and move to the woods? People think that we can just abolish government and everything will be okay, just like people think we can immediately leave Iraq and everything will be okay... it's a fantasy world, reality... that's when you know you're fucked.

CPH we're all going to die in the end... on a long enough time line everything comes to an end. I try to live my life the best I can and I don't do unto others unless i'd like them to do the same to me. In the end if there is a heaven hopefully i'v been good enough. If there's not then Eh, I wouldn't know it because i'd be dead. That is if all religions are wrong and nothing happens. People die everyday unfortunately, that's how life works.
