Hey all!!

Didnt realise there was such an active irish growers thread

Been researching for quite a while now on the net and have got the growing bug,currently on my first grow and learning a lot and loving it,look forward to chatting to ye all,its great to be able to chat to people about it as I aint taking any chances by telling mates etc

Done for the year last was green love potion, great yelder and easy to grow (thx md) would recomend for beginer.

you are very welcome my friend! Yeah green love potion is very nice with stellar genetics (Black Domina x Lavender) and sativa dom to boot. Glad you like it and yes it is easy to grow. To me it looks a lot like AK47 as far as structure goes.

Yeah im ordering more seeds in the morning and going for high powered cfls in my veg room,ill be heading for argos too thanks to you

Think ive got the growing bug already,my 3 ladies are 5 weeks into flower and im getting excited/impatient waiting for them,sometimes I just go in to smell them as theres a lovely fruity aroma in the tent now,I hope ill look back and laugh at myself the way I try to make a bag last these days

md is the strain doctor around here, i`ve never even heard of c99 hahahaha i`m knocking out lemmon haze at the minute, i`ve got about 30 seeds left so i`ll be growing it for the next year i`d say, then i`ll have to switch strains and see what else i like, might try a breeding run even and develop some seeds, they`ll be regs unless i can get colliatal silver or whatever its called to fem them, but for now its only an idea, as for street weed here in the midlands its a gram for 50 notes or 2 grams if the guys are ok with you, sicken you 50 quids are hard to come by and 2 grams is all of 3 o 4 joints if you have to spread it out .... thats not even a nights smokeing...

Ha! Thanks AE! I study tons of strains and see tons of strains at the dispensaries here in san francisco and oakland. So Jay if you have any questions on any strain I can probably give you the low down on it i.e. c. sativa, c. indica, flower time, potency (if grown in a good environment).

C99 is a legendary strain used in tons of hybrids even though it is a hybrid itself. I love to get some properly grown C99 when I can! But with all the new hybrids its hard to get just C99.

5 weeks.. sorry dude, my head does be up my arse sometimes, toss up a pic and lets have a look then... as for going in there.. its my ritual after tea the kids clean up the table and i go for a smoke in the shed while watering and so on just before lights out, i love my little time alone with mty secret hobby is really relaxing...

theres no hope for you now, once yeilded you`ll never stop growing hahahaha....

do you recommend watering before lights out as ive been doing it shorty after lights on or does it really matter?

i find that doing it lights out or about 15 minutes before as i do, allows the water to get where it needs to and cuts down on condensation,wet soil under hps and all, also allows the plant to get the feed before evaporation you`ll get "salty" buildup sometimes from that when watering lights on.. for your next run you should try hempy pots, allows the pot to store an amount of feed at the botom in some stones that the roots grow into and ups your yeild a bit too, also very andy for flushing and all that jazz ..

Ah I didn't realize you had the WW x BB, I have that as well. IMO I would go for the grapefruit, I like the sweet candy smell and taste of grapefruit but bubble gum is good as well. Tough decision man. Although Dinafem has sweet deep grapefruit (grapefruit x blueberry). Wow I just saw kera seeds Cherry Grapefruit (White Widow x ChemDawg x OG Kush x Diesel), ChemDawg is at this moment my favorite strain and is the mother of all OG Kush's and Diesel strains and is extremely potent. The bubble gum is almost all indica but a great strain none the less. Myself I would get Cherry Grapfruit but that is not a freebie. So I would say grapefruit, it is truly a great strain.

Just looked at the freebies and they have cotton candy! That is an awesome potent sweet candy smelling strain and a beautiful flower once fully mature. I would shoot for that plus I didn't see any grapefruit freebies.
