Fuck the autos get some fem to throw in for good measure n mate ur cfls take fook all off ur bill...i was running a 600w setup n it was a little extra a month so ur laughing.the bat mix is 2 hot for ur ladies so I'd say get some more soil maybe the allmix....shouldn't steal from friends bud..tut tut

My setup is a wardrobe 4ft high, 14 inch deep and about 24 inches wide, on my last grow I barely had enough room for the plant to breath , I had one 250w 2700k over the plant and six 35w cfls around the side with an oscil fan and used 2 big pc fans for outake and I ended up getting about months straight smoking out of it. I know that I shouldn't be stealing from friends but as I said I don't want people close to me knowing my business. If I asked for them questions would start popping up and like I said that's my business that I'm growing because it only takes one mouth to pass on something like this and next thing ya know I'm a celebrity and then the knock comes next or worse the door gets taken off the hinges in such a manner that wont be funny and the house gets pulled apart and searched all over 2 shitty little plants, now I have no problem with the shades coming and catching me with one or 2 plants if it's my own fault but I do have a problem if they come because of some little shite that's on his way home some night with the makings of a few j's in their pockets gets pulled over by the shades and squeels on me because mammy and daddy are law going citizens and their family would end up been tarnished by their sons or daughters name in the paper.

That's the reason why I took those seeds.

2 grows 2 issues with heat since the weather got warmer, I am a sad bunny - looks like might have to stick with 400 instead of 600 - the 400 tent is kicking ass over the 600 not the way it was meant to play. Cool tubes, fans all that can be done is being done but cannot seem to get the air between the canopy and light cool enough.

I could if really had to buy a small aircon but thinking better to maybe downgrade the 600 to 400 until I can buy the LED system, if I could fit a better hood in the tent it may fix the issue but the tent is too small so stuck with cool tube.

Thinking of swapping out the 600 HPS for the LED system being sold by Dutch Passion - looks like a solid unit and good reviews,
FYI - cool tubes have nasty hot spots - both tents are 600mm x 600mm DR60 tents - the 400 powered tent is growing some nice bud but the 600 tent it keeps going light and leafy the buds not forming correctly resulting in a shit yield and poor bag porn.

Thinking in this case maybe more watts is holding the key to more problems - thoughts?

I may have to eventually order some Sensi Seeds' Super Skunk &/or Paradise Seeds' Wappa after I read a study where they tested various lights on cannabis & those two strains consistently produced around 18-19% whereas the others produced closer to 10%. Check it out.


The Wappa actually decreased in potency as the light increased (19.28% with a 250HPS to 17.77% with a 600HPS). I mean, the difference wouldn't be noticeable, but the power bill would.

I like your style.... Keep it safe
Batmix is great however dont use it on young plants or add some perlite.

Gotta ask you guys. Any of you still buy? Went through a massive dry spell there, literally smoking maybe 2-3 times a year. Out of nowhere, I've met several people who smoke.

But the prices are f**king crazy. At the moment I can get 1g for €25 or 2 for €50. WTF?!

And that's off 3 different guys. The second guy ass raped me and I got like 1.3g for 50.

How much do you all pay, or do you only grow nowadays?

It's much the same price here where I am for the same amount. Sometimes you can get 3gs for 50 but that's very rare here (normally it's 2.0-2.4 (max) for 50 and they'd have you believe that they are doing you a favor by adding an extra .2 or .3 grams for 50 (that's point 2 or point 3 grms by the way...lol) extra because theirs a doubt on or it costs them so much for an ozzy but hey the country is flooded with it, people are just been mean and keeping things to themselves so people keep coming back because they have no one else to go too.
I haven't had any in 3 weeks now since my last grow nor will I buy any ever again off anyone, it's a total waste of money this country is a total disgrace and I strongly believe that the legal shops ruined it for everybody the way things have gone in regards to smoke. Theirs even people dying from taking pills all that shite that is floating around the clubs these days people don't care what they put into them and they don't care what way people will react to them once they get their money and make their profit they don't care about peoples health. It really is a joke mate.

Cheers for the reply mate, I'm kinda screwed so, I have no light mix left and I'm sure that I'm going to have to re-pot in the next week or even less (they are in 2 lt pots at the moment), if I put the bat mix into my 11 litre container and I leached the soil a couple of times and left it settling for the week would it be safe to pot it in then? I'm not too worried about this grow because these are 2 bag seeds and I really don't know what strain they are either but I want to gain a little bit of experience by trying cropping or topping and lst so it should be a bit of fun.

Use to get 3g for 50 n that was as good as it gets quantity wise but sometimes you get less of better quality crap (all total shite) since I've cropped my tolerance has gone up so if I do run out i cant afford the pot around here lol

Cheers for the reply mate, their both bagseed and I have no idea what stain they are either. I took 2 seeds out of a collection of around 25 seeds so these are real mystery seeds.
They are in 2 lt pots, would I get away with leaving them in those pots for another week until I can get some more new soil sorted out because all that I have here is bat mix soil and the lads on here were saying that it will be too strong for young plants??

Actually you will notice signs of female or male right about when they are ready for bloom, my bad.

I have only used hydro never soil so I could not inform about which direction to take with what would be best for your youngens.

hello irish peeps,jus found this thread,great ta see irish people growing....I haven't grown anything in a few years but gonna start up soon,can anyone recommend a good strong strain for when I start in a few weeks????
