Score! Just bought 1 fem AK47 and got 10 dinafem beans free! Gotta love The Attitude. Now there's some extra incentive to get the grow room done. Can anybody help me on my lighting supplier question? Have tried the search and spent a load of time browsing various hydro suppliers on the web but most of them are either crazy expensive or don't ship here. If I can't find 125 or 200W cfls for a reasonable price I guess I'll just whack a load of smaller ones in there - should make it easier to surround each plant with a good bit of light.

I mailed them to say I wasn't happy about the postage charges, €4.50 for the north and €8.50 for rep... I know they pull the "International" postage stoke but its the same bit of land out in the ocean ffs.
Aswell as weight and size of it..

Did you not get the 1 free UFO seed also..?

Also just keep in mind lads that the freebies are second grade seeds. I understand their free but you wouldn't want a sneaky male or hermie getting in to your grow space

I did get the UFO as well, and yes the shipping was a bit of a bend-over considering the beans weigh next to nothing but I figured feck it - I only paid for one so if any more than that amount to anything it's a bonus.
Also have to say I'm digging you avatar - wouldn't mind looking up to those sitting on top of the old pole!!

If it was me I would get it sent to a different address since your already growin' but at the same time your not buying a light that can do industrial sized operations so it might not flag up for anyone, anything I order goes to a business address so its handy if asked the business bought it to sell on for a profit

I think your gonna have some cracker growth if you use the LED and CFL combo, do it right and you can grow the steriod weed you see in some pics, it'll cost you probably another £50-70 to get the right nutrients then dependin' on what your growin' if you do autoflowers you'll get over the oz a plant easy, your bound to know a few mates that would contribute the money your out on lights and nutrients/soil and electric with only an oz at the most sold, or less considerin' your over the border I know you guys get ripped off down there worse than we do up here.

well guys
i went and ordered the 2010 led ufo from gotham, i little pricey compared to the old 2009 one but should be ok for what i need it for because the cfl`s` dont seem to be getting 2 of the plants flowering as quickly as the 3rd plant. ill let you know when i get it anyway then if you want to get one you would know how long it takes it arrives. also if theres any probs with customs.

I live with my brother anyway sucky we're only young fella's still but I think it's approachin' time to move on, I'd be on my own then and that's when the fun would start as I wouldn't have to worry about where I'm growin because I'd dedicate a spare room to just growin and do some light and breeding experiments, not to mention the hemp oil I have to find out if that dude rick simpson is bullshittin' or not cause all the evidence suggests he's not but it seems too good to be true still.

What's the plans over the winter season for you, do you end up with enough budd to keep you goin' over christmas and new year or do you take it inside?

if i even get enough to keep me and other half in smoke ill be very happy, shes a real horse. on my next grow i will do a journal cos theres a good few things i have learned with all the help from you guys and what i have picked up during this grow. ill see how long now it takes to get here then get a few pics up. cant wait to see how it goes. your right about the sddress, i got it sent to another address, just to be safe.

Alright lads, Just a couple of pics, day 1 afet Lst'ing the autos and all are looking nice a perky again nut i am a bit worried about the last pic, shes a fast bud auto but the new leaves are looking yellow around the edges, its not a scorched yellow but am still a little worried..any ideas??

Happy days man I'm sittin' here buzzin' on your behalf I dare say from the US it'll take between a week and 10 days to get over, good timing for finishin' up the grow you have goin' on at the minute I dare say you'll get a few oz off what you already have if you hit it with the 3 lights until harvest time, are you gonna do the 72hrs dark thing before harvest? I'm considerin' it but I might only do 24-48 instead.

ah sure we'll see how much we get off these babies first,but I wouldn mind doin few autos in an aul wardrobe,handy bitta smoke and maybe sell the odd bag!?just wonder how much it would add on the lecy bill tho?

If you use CFL's or a reptile light like me your talkin an extra £2 a week at most...I think, maybe an extra quid but nothin' special anyway nothin' noticeable anyway if there's any interest by your electric company then all you have to say is you bought a flat screen for you bedroom and it eats the electric a bit more lol I noticed my electric jumpin' from around a fiver a week to nearly a tenner by gettin' a flat screen in the livin' room to play ps3 on, started usin the light after I got the tv and their isn't much difference in the electric I still don't go over the tenner a week.

i know fella i cant wait till it arrives either!
i might do the 72 hr dark thing alright, thats when it shocks the plant isnt it and as a counter effect it produces more thc to protect itself, its only three days so stuf fit i might give it a go. i am thinking now of putting a couple of worms in 2 of the pots as the soil around the middle of the pot is getting very hard, but still wet enough(compact). i stuck in a syringe today from the ink refill kits and tried to break it up with air so ill see how that goes but if plant still limpy then its getting wormed.
just dont tell the mrs theres worms in the bedroom, shed fuckin kill me!

thats not too bad mick,lust wonderin cause i live in chalet beside the house but the aul lad see's the bill before me!

SO i got some that stuff for covering the girls at night,plant fleece!1euro per metre,not too bad at all!

was just wonderin would it take a light coat of spray,green and brown maybe,for a bit off camo like??cause its white and there could be risk of people spotting it through the forest now all the other trees and stuff are loosing their leaves....think we could have got very slight frost here last nite...

Alright lad and ladies here is a pic or 2 of my girl (White Dwarf). I have treated this plant like I treat my women - mean!! I dug her up and brought her in tonight since it's blue arse cold out - hopefully last night didn't hurt her too much. She's been growing away happily in the back garden with no nutes, no watering and very little care - I guess she's not bigger because temps were less than optimal. A couple of the bud sites are looking a wee bit frosty - I'm only gonna get popcorn off this one (if that!) but I guess that's not bad for no care!!
Is the yellowing of the lower leaves because it's in flower and it's using up the plant's own nutes or is that a N deficiency? Sorry for the crappy focus!!

Don't know if you fellow CFL growers have seen it but avocalite.ie does 85W spiral CFLs for 14.95. At that price you can afford to load up and get lots of light on your ladies' frosty bits!!
