Gentleman richie thanks, the 1st pic is the younger one believe it or not, this is the next step now the experiment is over and smoked :D was tasty but didn't get me very stoned but then that could be because she was pulled early and had nutes absorbed in her, this is my 1st proper grow so fingers crossed. Your bang on about the nutes too I sat and worked it out one day that the plants are sensitive so if professional growers get problems so will I so to prevent it I use a half mixture of nutes and give them their feeds a day earlier now.

Never heard of that strain jingle but let me know how you get on, think I'm gonna try that seedbank too they look decent and you guys gave good reviews, gonna go for the afghan ryder though...heard it's meant to put you on your back.

It's the name of one of the top weeds in amsterdam but you got it right I was hospital, in the heart attack ward....different thing though it was clueless doctors that took me in cause I have a weird sound in my heart but it's nothin to write home about. The intensive care weed is knockout stuff for real.

Not nice bein in a crash hope your mates ok, I was in a crash a few years ago that ended my martial arts career :( 17 dislodged vertibrae in my spine....thank fuck for weed and chriopractors haha :D

Ok guys, Just waiting on my Barneys flower power to arrive from irishseeds. I want to get my soil tomorrow and plan on getting this http://www.tarahydroponics.com/biobizz-coco-50ltr-p-183.html
Should i be putting something else in the pot with this, If you can see it on that website that would be very handy. I really want this grow to work so all help appreaciated. I wont be using nutes at all through grow, I just seem to get carried away with them even when i am trying not to and have heard because of the short life span if the autos and the nutrients that are already in the fresh soil that autos grow ok on only water.

Well first thing to say is that the link you posted is not actually soil. It's coco coir made from coconut husks. It contains no nutrients at all so you'll definitely need nutes. You'll also need specific coco coir nutes for it. The stuff your looking for is bio bizz all mix. It's by the same maker but the nutes in it only last 3 weeks. You can run autos on just water but I'd advise that you'll need some nutes to get a decent crop. Even if it's just a basic level but you will need something

There is perlite in it but i always add a bit more a a little bit of vermiculite too. I'm not overly familiar with advance nutrients but they sound like base nutrients so they should be fine. Another avenue to explore would be lite mix which s soil but contains so nutes at all. Then you can add your own but you need self restraint. I'm the same. Dying to feed them as much as possible but essentially less is more. A plant shouldn't need anything for the first couple of weeks anyway. My advice would be to start feeding them about week 3 on a half strength dose and go from there. With autos you also mightn't need veg nutes as plants should be flowering by the 3 rd week. Hope this helps.

Jingle the canna coco are the top ones you can buy so their worth the look, in my eyes any would do the trick it's really only a difference of a few grams, commercially that makes a difference but to me no, I'm using a basic mix total bloom for hydro or soil, only cost me £10. If your undecided then use a mix of coco and compost, the compost will have enough nutrients to get the plants 2 weeks or more into veg with water depending on what type you get, that'll give you the time to read up on what nutrients you feel would be best for your babies.

I've made the choice to wait until after christmas to get the UFO light I want, there's a new generation out now so I'll be sneaky and wait until after the price goes down when christmas is over and get a really good one cheapish, the CFL I bought was 125w would I be mad buying another one to finish off the autos or do you think the 1 would do the job? The light is well spread out over the wee cupboard but I'm worried that the lower branches will suffer when they grow up a bit and it could be worth the while getting another light to put under the canopy any ideas?

Alright Mick, I definitely say add another light. If you can add two more even better. Keep them as close to the plants as possible, with those cfls thats pretty close, like a couple of inches, check with your hand to see if its hot at the plant tops, if its not burning you its grand for the plants. 3 of those avocalite 85W jobs would go a long way towards a much better yield of tighter buds from yer girls. And theyre cheap to buy and to run, last ages.

What area are you covering with the one 125Watt?

Hi Prof,
I did have the ppm up at around 800 for a few days to see how they got on, and I did notice a little of what looked like nute burn, so I added water to lower it again.
The system Im using is an atami wilma, it is basically a recirculating drip setup with a rez and pump.

One thing I didnt do in the beginning was soak the clay pebbles in PH fixed water overnight, and so I had some problems with ph rising which I countered with phosphoric acid.
Same thing happened to me ages ago, and happens to lots of growers, those pebbles need a serious amount of soaking and rinsing before using I think, so what happened to me was that the plants had a set back when planted in it, ph all over the place, until the pebbles had been flushed a few times by the flood and drain. With the next res change a week later, they suddenly bounced back. The amount of shit in the bottom of the tank told me I shouldve rinsed better. Patience not my strong point....

Watch that your drippers dont get blocked up with red shit. The pH should settle down. How long they been in the pebbles? What size is the res? I think youre right about the ppm, if you burned them at 800 a few days ago, then back to 400 for another few days til theyre ok seems like a good plan.

Looking forward to seeing how you like the Wilma once youve got it sussed, it looks like a great system. What strain you growing?

Any pics?

Your talkin in meters a box area of 1 x 0.6/0.7 with 4 autos, 2 pots and 1 bucket 2 in the bucket with the 1st set of true leaves, my 5th seed didn't crack so 4/5 not bad, its a pretty tall cupboard but you can see from the pics a page or 2 back what I'm workin with. I was thinkin 1 more 125w, the money to buy the avocas and the sockets would set me back the same as another ebay cfl, would you go white spectrum? I have the 125w red spectrum and an orange/blue 20w uvb repltile light aswell so maybe I should complete the spectrum and see how that does until the end of next month. I see now how people build up a collection of lights and other bits and bobs when they get goin properly haha

Any recomendations or hints on where I might find a good auto ak page or journal with pics and end results eg. yeild wet and dry, I've checked for ages and can only find 1 decent one but no pics just good stats.

Was in Nirvana in Leonards Corner today - what a difference to the shop on S. Anne St. The guy in there today was very helpful, knew all the products very well and answered all my questions without looking at me like I was the world's biggest eejit. I will definitley be going back there for all my non-mail order business.

Hey all,

Its been a while i only seemed to come on here when i have had problems but i learned so much from ye guys that i didnt need to come back lol but....... The only problems ive been having is balls!!! Balls balls balls! I bought 8 feminized white widow seeds from an online seed bank which i think was called therightstrain im not to sure on the name. I bought 8 fem seeds for 16euro. It seemed to good to be true! It was!! All i got was male plants, every single one of them. So time and money wasted, especially time. So im just giving ye all a heads up about this site!!! KEEP AWAY! I even emailed them but they have a disclaimer on there page saying they can not reply to emails with reference to thc, yield, quality etc, cause its illegal to plant the seeds!! Clever pricks!!!

So basically my question is where do all the irish growers buy there seeds?

Have the last two of these seeds growing and will put them into 12/12 as soon as they are about 8inches tall, not gonna waste anymore time and effort with them i just wanna see if they both end up with big balls!!

Hope all the growers are growing big juicy ladies!!!

Peace

To be honest i found its better to let it dry naturally its keeps the smoke clean and sweet. Shouldnt take 3/4 weeks unless ur curing it too. U can dry some bud in a very low heat oven if ur desperate. Patients is the best way to dry it lol

Enjoy
