The Irish Growers Thread!

Looks great.
Did you leave it grow as normal or tried topping, Lst or anything ?

I'm trying lst at the moment. Slowly getting there but it looks like a mess at the minute !
 
A little lst with green ties and bendz clips, a little defoliation and I attempted to top but managed to fuck that up, ha! Not sure how, I topped the 5th set of leaves but for some reason the flowers on those nodes didn't take off. There was no growth for about a week and then it came on again, growing straight up as though it had never been topped. I stayed with the ties and clips after that.

Lst is an ongoing learning process for me, topping even more so. It's fun when I fuck up! :mrgreen:
 
I current have a mix of old coco petite and peat moss from lidal and the same on the last run no issues what so ever kit10
I use the same nutes as before and I've haven't seen any difference
 
Well lads remember when I said id the bigger 6 inch filter well this to the left is ny old 6"500mm and next to it is the 6" 1000mm covering 1125m3 per hr no odor worries for me and the longer surface area would make one assume less resistance from the sucking due to more filter holes

Don't know about deals but I'm currently loving Royal Queen Seeds. The pics i posted yesterday are of their special queen 1, only €10.50 for 3 seeds. Most of the others are in the €20-€27 range for 3, plus free shipping and a free random seed for spends over €25. The more you spend, the more freebies you get.

I also spotted this thread yesterday which might be of interest to you.

I have an OG Kush and Skunk XL that both broke ground overnight, they'll be going into the coco/perlite mix in the next few days. I must prep the coco today though.

Do Lidl sell the bricks? I'd be surprised if they do, the bricks are handier for me as my grow space is quite small. We also call the grow room the dumping room - think Monica's closet in Friends. :shock:

It took them 2 weeks to ship me my seeds even though they said it was shipped nearly 2weeks before. Couldnt get through to them on any phone numbers and when i contacted them on facebook they said they would send my tracking number and never did. Id stay away from them.

Try seedsman they have big selection and do good offers on bitcoin payments.

Ill be ordering from seed-city.com for my next run because the do pick and mix seeds and only 10 euro tracked.
 
I use attitude seeds when I don't have cash other wish I go to a seed shop here I use mish mash in Kildare far away from home and cash. Attitude are good but I'm always worried about shipping and they are pricey.

Nah lidal only have big bags of peat moss 2Euro for 25litres a great grow shop I use is d I g in tallaght

Yeah i find attitude pricey alright. Growshop have a sister company that sells seeds. Its right next door to there dublin shop. Hempseeds its called or something like that
 
Filter is a rhino one I bought off eBay 6inch size.

Cob spacing is what ever was 1meter divided by 4 my frame is 1x1 they run pretty cool I have to fans blowing over them and then a fan under the canopy to keep the air moving around because the plants are sweaty bitches and I got bud rot once and I'll do everything in my power not to have it again I had to throw away buds which broke my heart !
 
600 WATS cobs and 600hps I found 2x 600 watt hps in. 2.1m tent lacking ID recommend 2 x 1000 or 3 600hps in 2.1 tent. But if I can get the results I want from the cob side I bite the bullet and do the other side as well
