What are the hoods you have? The sunsystem is this one here https://www.hg-hydroponics.co.uk/sun-system-irradiator-air-cooled-reflector-150mm-6783-p.aspThats it man youd want to be growing a couple of them to try a few. If only things were that simple hahaha.
Im gonna test it out first with open ended hoods and see would my fan be strong enough to keep things cool( if i run my fan at full power i can keep temps down with open ended hood)
Yeah i had a feeling alright had a guy trying to convince me to buy them that theyre awesome. Feck that haha
What sunsystem is that man?
Im going with the 16 top mainline technique this time round. See how i get on haha
Haha all good man. Oh no, sorry to hear haha.. joke!!Hahah I was just eves dropping.. I’ve read this thread in the past.. I married a dub.. we’re going over to do it again 4th of July, then traveling the country after. Would love to bump into one of u yous for the craic
No joke lads I have that same exact hood in my 4x4 tentWhat are the hoods you have? The sunsystem is this one here https://www.hg-hydroponics.co.uk/sun-system-irradiator-air-cooled-reflector-150mm-6783-p.asp
They’re really good quality reflector and give brilliant spread. I need to get a heat gaurd though, I’m getting hotspots in the center of the canopy.
Yeah I was going to leave off the scrog this time but cant take the chance with seeds ha. If I had a cut and new how it would grew I’d try something different but in hydro they grow so fast and even with a scrog you can be in bother with head room. Can’t wait to get a mother tent going and take cuts, it a pain when you get all different growth characteristics
We will be going to Kerry actually, Clare, Galway and more. Would love to meet an Irish grower. Been there twice before.. last Christmas/New Years and the previous April mighty craic love it. A plastic Paddy yank I am hahahHaha all good man. Oh no, sorry to hear haha.. joke!!
Ah that’s class, have you been here before? You should head south down to Kerry, it gets very Irish down there lol.
Hit me up when your over, if I’m not away myself we could meet up for a smoke
I’m 99.9% sure I know who you are....but I’ve been offline for a few months there.Had I of know it was this bad over here for smoke I'd of packed me arse full of the stuff lol thanks tho mate I can't wait to meet you lad been fue years on here now mate

Not with Mickey in chargeMon Tyrone!!
Defiantly worth trying them out especially if you have them there. I found the room the tent is in has a lot to do with how will you can keep things cool. I was running the tent in the house from spare room, ducting running into the hallway. Could never keep the temp below 27 with 2x 600. Soon as I routed the ducting up the chimney I could keep temps at 24/25 all day with 3x 600Just have a normal coltube and a parabolic reflector. I love my parabolic so im hoping ill get away with not having to use air cooled hoods. If i do ill defo look into the ones you have man cause they seem pretty decent alright
Haha I’d love to argue it out, but I’ve been the exact same thing from his daughter died. Not with Mickey in charge
Chimney is chancy with FLIR cameras this time of year though.Defiantly worth trying them out especially if you have them there. Yeah man might do alright. Actually considering just running 2 seperate flowering tents. Itll save me buying a bigger tent since i already have 2 tents. Hate putting them together aswel hah. Awh yeah i have mine in me spare room aswell and i just vent into the attic.Defiantly worth trying them out especially if you have them there. Chimney is suppose to put out heat aint it?Chimney is chancy with FLIR cameras this time of year though.
Try using insulated ducting - can get it on eBay for a few quid more. Run it into your attic & make like a spiral with it like a Christmas tree. It’ll cool down more and minimise signature.
Or put the ducting through into your hot press.
Dont know what you mean by that.Fire in summer other a range and a smell of dank weed
