yes jingle thats nearly identical to the one i use, my plants do really well on it and the ph is always bang on. even after adding nutes it still stays at 6.5, you might be better just buying it in a pet shop over here though because it would be cheaper after u add postage. mine is called proper ph 6.5

most pet shops have it, the ph stuff in the grow shops is mad expensive.

only thing jingle is dont use too much, i only add like under a quarter teaspoon to a five litre drum, next time im watering ill take a pic and show u how much i use.

Slipped in to Nirvanagrow on my lunch and picked up some biobizz all mix and the biobizz bloom. Didnt bother checking the the seeds to see if there was any movement last night so fingers crossed for tonight so fingers crossed. Gonna get my pots ready tonight anyway so that the soil is a nice temp. I am using 10ltr pots, Any ideas on weather i should water the soil before or after i put the germed seed in. And how much watr should i use for a 10ltr pot. i am Deffo going to be using the bottled water, Ph6.1.

physique that looks deadly, a real conversation peice!, that was a great price irish mc, is that the stuff where the more you add the lower the ph goes?
jingle a teaspoon is 5ml so you only want to use a little bit of powder in the middle. when u get the stuff just put a bit between your fingers and crumble it in (that small), good luck with the seeds popping there tails out. all mine(5 seedlings 3 veg) are now under a 150w hps and the 90w ufo and seem to be coming along nicely. then i have the the rest of the ones in flower in the tent.

Well got home and the LSD has cracked open but no movement on the blue cheese. Just after filling my pots with soil so hopefully by friday i will have the 2 babies in soil.

Lu do you think i should water my soil before i pop the germed seed in or after. Lu your plants always look so healthy, im jealous...

Im thinking of getting a loan of my friends 250w Envirolite (6400k blue) for vegging but can some one tell me will that work off the same hood and ballast i have for the 400hps??/

Think you may need to pot the seedling before Friday, depending on the way the Blue Cheese goes...

Water your soil before hand, even the day before is better as it has chance to settle... Also when watering young seedlings I used a trigger spray thing as you dont need to water much at all... just keep the soil moist is all...

Your Envirolite comes with its own ballst built in and just needs plugging in....

good advice by jay there juingle, using the trigger spray wont make the soil too heavy with water, you want to make it easy for the roots to move around. do the night before and it should be fine for the seedlings. the blue cheese takes about 3 days to be ready for planting, depending on temps. also make sure that when the shell breaks let the root come out about half inch then pot, otherwise you may have bit of a long wait before it pops its head above soil. also the warmer it is the quicker they pop i have found, an airing cupboard in with the underpants is a great place!

i think the envirolites can be used with the hood but you would have to bypass the ballast and plug straight into the mains.

cut the kettle lead part off or buy the adapter from any electrical shop to connect to the kettle end and the cable will have a plug on the other end. if you know what i mean. then again if you are borrowing it you cant cut it so just buy the adapter, female kettle to plug.
i just posted in the help section as the little fucking leaf eaters are back again, i wish i could see them thats the annoying thing. niot being able to identify the problem. looks like i have to go buy a bleeding microscope now or a pair of mr magoo glasses!

6.1 will be probably be too low when you add the Biobizz to it, Biobizz has an average pH of like 4.4.
Id say water the pot with just soil in them about 3 days before you transplant, according to Biobizz it allows the soil time to "activate". The microorganisms apparently need time to eat the worm "casings" (poo) to release the nutes.

And Physique, +rep for the stem bong!

And luciferateme, your gonna have a great haul, I see indica, sativa and afghan dominant hybrids there, Id love to get 3 types of stone in one harvest!

Thanks Harrekin, I'm gonna get the proper ph6.5 that Lu recommended.

How much water do you think i should pre-water my 10ltr pots

How do i give Reps on this, your self and lu have been a great help.

You use the little star to the right of "Journal this Post" to give rep. That pH 6.5 looks cool, but Im gonna just use the old fashioned pH pen with pH Up/Down for my next grow.

For pre-watering your pots get them moist but dont have them drenched, cos theres nothing draining the water yet and you dont wanna drown your roots when you transplant into it. I dont bother with all that fancy stuff anymore tho, I just plant my seeds straight into 10L pots.

Cheers lads, gonna construct some sort of bowl and maybe add some sort of varnish to stop the stem from rotting? Works great too!
