ae86 if you do go down the automated/ wick rout make 100% sure that your tent and floor is water proofed , either stick it all in containers or line the floor with some linner, dont want to come back to a trashed house, maybe cutting down early would be best.

darren is it fox tailed bud, is there a closer pic?

thinking of switching down the lights to 16 off 8 on would this help, there all the same age and the pistils have started to really go bright orange on one and the rest are following a little slower

right so lads, i`ve just sorted a spot for the next grow, alot closer to home and easier to manage. I am going to go with a wardrobe grow box, dimensions unsure at the minute but assumeing were talking big enough for 9/12 plants at a time. Going to be useing a 400w hps a small pc fan for extraction and another for intake, will have a pair of 6 inch fans on the canopy with a wire mesh for the canopy also when time calls for it, will line the sides etc anything else that i`m missing ......

haven`t gotten the seeds yet but i`ll go with the ak-47 from nirvana possibly a couple of other strains.

If your doing non-autos I'd put 4 plants under a 400w HPS...more that that will just be more hassle with a pretty similar yield to the 4.

And under Irish Law, 12 plants equals possible 4-6 years for cultivation for sale/supply.

4 would have to be considered "personal" and carries a max penalty of €1027 fine and/or 4 months in prison.

You might try plead personal for 12, but it would depend on the judge, and I wouldnt take a risk on him being in a bad mood cos his wife wouldnt suck his cock the night before.

Realistically you wouldnt do half or probably even a quarter that time either way, but I personally would prefer to avoid the whole prison situation altogether ;)

Under a 400w HPS like you're planning you could pull up to 200g's easy if you have a basic knowledge of what they need. Just keep em short, top and LST them Id say and start easy with the nutes. Keep the pots moist but not wet, and never too dry. Get your light as close as possible without too high temps and keep your air flowing...do that and you'll get decent yields and they get better with every harvest you get under your belt.

There not that harsh over ere even though it aint that far away there was a guy that got away with 30 plant personal use ,and before u say did e fuck ive seen the news on it i couldnt believe it either

once again thanks harrekin, i may get my finger out and put together a proper grow box, the cfl`s were ok but in reality i would need like 8 or 9 or more to get the yeild i`m after to get a bit of personal regularly. 200g`s would be savage........

forgot to mention the 400 has a hood or are they called ballasts?

collecting it and the wardrobe monday so should be starting the grow next week, willl post pic`s when it arrives.....

as far as knowing the law.... lets just say i know the cops....., they don`t like me on account of the car i drive, the place i live or what we do for fun, so getting caught with 4 or 12 wouldn`t matter , but i`ll start off at the 4 /6 plant mark,

all the topping and lst questions to follow......

so lets get onto nutes and bloom stuff and that, where can i get the canna nutes there not available in the southeast, also soil medium which is the best for me? been useing mix of soil and compost, it was a 50/50 mix of both in each pot.

You see the thing I was trying to say was that you'll probably pull the same yield regardless of whether you have 4 or 12,but with the 4 it'd be way less hassle,from a practacility point of view. Less different nute problems and stuff.

I could fit 9 in my tent but my light covers 5 perfectly and I don't think more plants would mean more yield.

dont think switching from 12/12 does anything unless its a long flowering sativa

pc fan extractor with a filter? not a indoor grower, but a pc fan with a 400 doesnt sound right


as for the law depends on the judge like some one mentioned, but there are guys walking away happy after 30 plants, think i saw a 50 recently, so long as you play smart and have a game plan happy days, with all the crap in the papers with proper cunts walking away scot free, suspended sentences and prison overcrowding it doesnt take a genius to play the remorseful lick arse and walk away free.
