i read on here they are rated different to cfms and dont think its good enough reckon i should send it back ?

It's got enough airflow for a small grow, I would keep it if you've already splashed the cash for it, don't know how loud it would be, but it doesn't look like it's very quiet.

And I've decided to add coco to my dwc grow as well, the yield is not too much lower than what I would get from dwc and I don't have to suffer the pain of growing in soil (pests, poor drainage, random lockouts), growing a mother blue cheese now for some clones and hopefully in a month or so I can have a 16 plant see of blue cheese going :d

id love to try my hand at cloneing but i just dont have the rome. mmmmmm especially with a nice ble cheese. is it a bb or a barneys

right well ive just put my seeds (3/4 ") in to little diposeable cups. my Q for today is shall i just put the cups straight undermy mh( was thinking about 3or 4 ft), or would i be better off leaving it pn my kitchen counter for a couple of days. ive got an under the counter cfl (F18W/219 T. my mh is 400w by the way

that should be 219 Teight

No way fuck that man, lash them under the 400w MH at about 2 1/2 feet (if air cooled) or 3 1/2 feet if bare. I use a 400w MH in my veg tent and have NEVER had a problem, even before I got the cooltubes. So fire away boy!

my last plant of the crimbo grow getting chopped on saturday.
anyways it smells fuckin horrible, like a stink bomb from the joke shop!!
i cut a tester bud off at the weekend and is dry and crispy now.
still smells bad but not as strong.
is it supposed to smell like that?

i just popped 3 nl seeds and 1 mystery bag seed under a T5, they all popped up in 48hrs so yeah put them ladies under the MH & dont forget to sing to them

are your cups see thro ?

P.S im keeping my T5 light on 24hrs

I've had a few 'bad breath' pheno's that stink absolutely of halitosis. It didn't smoke like that though, a very heavy narcotic weed.

smoked a bit of it tonight and it doesent taste like it smells,
its not to bad at all.
i recon a long cure will do it some good

yeah you cant beat a good cure.do you guys like your weed bone dry ?
id just smoke it straight out of the jar when its stil sticky and love ripping it with my fingers..it bes oily and theres a nice smell to it

stickey was the trainwreck that ad, im just starting one now from greenhouse. it cant smell that bad can it? hope not. how long did you cure for.
always have my weed with a little moisture loveinthe ganja, i hate it when the juice starts stickey your fingers to everythin you touch.

morning men. major problem. went up to my set up last night to get it ready for my seedlings which are coming along lovely by the way, but plugged in my ballast and neither my mh or hps are working on it. was working perfect last time is used it which was aboit 2 months ago. i litterly just plugged it out and unscreweed the bulb and left them there in the attic untill now. any one any ideas

Did you buy it in a shop or online? If you bought it in a shop I'd bring it back, my digital one had a 10 year warranty.

If fairness to the guy in Bloomandgrow tho, he just swapped it straight out without even checking it.

neither Har. got it from a friend. gonna have to go with my original idea and use the 600hps dual spec for the whole grow but wont be able to pick that up till saturday.

ok well changed the fuse and diff socket and still no luck. how can a ballast just stop working from not using it.

Think mine has a fuse actually built on to the side of the ballast....


Digital or magnetic...?

Sounds like it may have had a small knock and if it doesn't smell burnt then it could be a lose connection..
