Dude be realistic, they're gonna fuck you for intent to supply if you're caught.
"Complex, planned operation, multiple lights...far more dried product than personal use...bags, scales, etc".
My advice: Start small, get cost neutral, and enjoy your smoke. If you absolutely insist on dealing, start slowly, clear some excess and see how it goes. Think think and think some more.
Just outta interest where you gonna tell "your guy" all the weed is coming from? What you gonna do when he decides his cut isn't enough and you're making all the cheddar? What you gonna do if he tells someone when drunk and they decide they want your stash? Have you considered the need to defend yourself? Have you considered his risks of getting arrested and ratting you for reduced charges himself?
Dealing crosses that line and you're talking quantities that will expose you more to it, are you on for that?
How are you gonna explain the money? You have a job? Are you happy NOT spending money on nice things, cos unless you're laundering it it'll add up and cash is basically useless except for small shit.
You gonna have the electricity in your name? Can you hide the gear/plants if the landlord or whoever wants to come over? Can you afford a failed crop if something goes wrong?
Again this sorta scale isn't for me, just you really need to think EVERY step through.
Your expected plant yields are massively ambitious too, what strain do you expect to yield 6 ounces of high quality per plant with only 2 per 600? It's usually quality or quantity, the genes don't seem to go well together.
Have you ever seen how much heat a 600w HPS produces btw? I cracked a cooltube the other day from the weather being so good cos the intake air was too warm...can you handle 4 of them?
As for talking to a lawyer...seriously?
Hope this helps and all, but slow down man, this is serious shit you're proposing and if you're asking so many questions then it's probably not for you yet.
And just for the record, most of the "gangs" you mentioned have low level "workers" to take the fall for them in the event of a bust
