Just to let yous now I had that pre paid lecy box put in on Friday power was only off for five mins all grand happy enuf few hours later I heard a bang blackout rang pre power there called there office was closed had to call esb he said never seen anything like it wired all wrong how it even worked for a few hours there was live power on every cable phase and netural just be warned cowboys

What soil are you using bubbles? i dont know whether to buy biobizz all mix again or try a bag of Plagron Royalty MixIm really happy with my soil 2 . I will still have a soil grow going along with my DWC for comparison . Only reason im interested in changing is yields with hydro seem to yield up to 3 times more than soil but in sayin that i couldnt imagine a 9 oz plantafter 3 months from seed
any input? i know i done very well with biobizz all mix before
who did ya get it off was it pre power.i got mine off airtricity but esb had too wire it.sounds like complete amateurs done yours id report them

Alright lads. My 3 girls are coming along anyway. The first is the Laughing Buddha in All Mix. It's a bit behind the White Widow's but that could be because it's a 3 month flower whereas the WW's are two month. Sorry now I didn't put it in coco.
The seedlings are coming on too. 2 LB's on the left and 2 NL's on right

I'm using plagron batmix atm and the seedlings are doing quite well. It's got bat guano mixed in which apparently improves the flavour at the end. Plus it's organic so I never need to measure PH. That's the main annoyance I have with hydro.

dident see the plagron batmix one anywhere just the light mix or all mix or the royal mix, do they have enough nutes in the soil where you dont need to add anything other than water?

Yeah it's amazing, I know the extrema is a pretty light feeder as well so it must be a high quality product
I have a bag of the all mix as well that's not used yet, but all you have mentioned, except for the light mix, have 6 weeks of nutes.

Im a big plagron fan thats all i will use and recomend
there royalty mix is a fine soil nice and fluffy texture to it . I wouldnt go putting seedlings into it tho as i think the nutes in it might b 2 much for them . Also i found the soil seemed to stay moist 4ever like with the all mix mayb 2-3 days and the top 10mm of the soil will go dry even crisp but with the royalty mix it seems to really hold onto the moisture . Now for some growers this could be a good thing but not really for me . As i like to water my ladies mayb every second night but when i had the royalty mix it was ust pissin out the end of the pot because the soil already had all the water it can take . I hope that answered your question if u have anymore fire away

wel lads, hows all the grows coming along, got 8.2 zips off the big bud, gettin the odd seed tho, dont know if its from the stem snapping wen she was young or the fact that i had 1 of them surge protected extension leads with the red and green light on them in the tent, covered the lights with black tape but the was a slight bit of a glow off it and it would have been on when the lights were off, still nice smoke and ya be fairly fecked after it. made butter the wknd with half the trim and popcorn, had it simmering for 6 and half hours,it finished alot greener than any i made before, havent made any brownie,s from it yet as im still eating me easy ryder brownies,maybe tonight.
have 2 Bubba kush on the go now, only a week from seed. prob be goin onto the nft tray in a couple of days, goin to flip them in 2 weeks.

Why im looking to go to hydro is because i want a straighter feed to the plants i need the soil out of the equation nutes

This just means the plant gets the nutes it needs as it needs um a little easy allowing the plant to put more energy towards growing. But because soil is now out of the equation i think taste seems to leave with it
from other hydro grows i have tasted wer not that great very plane no real flavour to it . Id compare it to getting the most beautiful looking steak ever and it tasting like cardboard just no flavour at all (I might b exaggerating a little bit but it really did not come near as good as any soils would) . I know there is nutes available to add flavour such as bud candy and stuff but then im think wouldnt all the weed taste the same . So after talking with my friends they said once it gets them high they couldnt give a fuk 
So im still going to grow a plant in soil for myself and the hydro will just b for my customers ehhh i mean friends

Biggest problem with res is temperature. Your res temp will be roughly same as inside of tent so you need to bring that to around 17-20c(IIRC). You could buy a cooler or something thats used to store beer when your camping it etc. Get a coleman cooler like the 66 litre off the google shopping site for four 65 pounds. Buy a decent pump few airstones maybe 30 pounds lets say 130 euro total including delivery. You could grow a monster in that and itll keep the res cool all by itself. I have seen a few grows online where people get a gram per or near abouts per watt under a 600 watt. Very achievable with the right enviorment and the rest temp is the most important in DWC to stop root rot. All you have to do is screw the lid off the cooler get three like styrofoam sheets to cover it. Saw the hole for your net pot that holds your hydroton and thats it. I can get you a DIY instruction on how to do it from another site if you wanna PM. I also know of a very good DIY 5 gallon bubble bucket that will be much cheaper to make. Prob 50 including pumps and stuff. But with the 36 l res in the cooler you can go longer without changing the res than the 5 gallon and also the ph will be more stable which is very important. You dont really wanna do more than one plant per container because roots get tangled up and inevitable some plants will dominate over others and the other plants will be crap. Your better off having one huge monster. To get a gram per watt ud need to veg for prob 2 months and scrog but even if you only vegged for a month with no training you could easily get a half gram per watt.I have the 9 inch fan in my dr90 tent with a 250w and that cuntin hermie which im just startin to flush and goin to chop her a week early.
In my 1.2 tent i have i have the 12inch fan and the thing is a beast my buddy has the same tent right next to mine with a 600w his temps be reach 35 - 36 C and mine stay at a nice 26 - 27
I keep the fan blowing across the shade and canopy so i can keep the ladies a little closer to the light
Im building a DWC system now for my next ladies I duno if i should do 6 ladies r 12 in it . Any of ye lads do much Hydro?
