Having problems again guys! i think it may be ph related but cant be sure, i am using the plagron royalmix soil and it has ferts for the first 6 weeks and they say not to use any food for the first 6 weeks so ive not been giving it anything other than water ph 6.5, however runoff is 7.2ph and a soil probe says ph is 7.5ph, the bag of royalmix says the ph of the soil is between 6.5 and 7.5,

i am seeing almost like a magnesium deficiency and the leaves of my plants are not as dark green as i would like, one plant is older and bigger and not showing much problem but the other plant is younger and showing the problem worse, its not nute burn as its only started to happen this last few days and the leaves would be dark green if it was nute burn,

so what is it? i have them in hempy buckets and thinking maybe with a little dropping leaves i am over watering but should you not be watering alot with hempy to keep the reserve full at the bottom or do you allow it to dry up between waterings??

was thinking of trying a lower ph water next time but the ph around 7 i dont know if thats the real problem? anyway heres some pics

Oh a little good news too when i bought seeds from herbies i told them i dident want the free regular seeds as i only wanted females and rather than give me 5 shitty regular beans they gave me another free 3 pack of the wos afghan kush x black domina females! worth over 20 quid! plus they gave me 4 other females seeds free carmello and some kind of blue strain so i am set for seeds if i could just get them growing without leave problems,

id say they leave us alone for a while now,all there resources be goin ta catch that guards killers.

on another note its the last time i grow a skunk plant,my house reeks from it,the northern lights im growin dont smell atall.......funny

fingers crossed they ease off, as for the cunts that shot that man, well i have a feeling they`ll pay for it for a long time too come, locked up or not they`ll get there`s...

and with regards too the plants, i am the worst in the world for smelling them out, my missus on the other hand can get the whiff all the time,and since i brought the few indoors shes like they stink all the time, probably drive me mad if i could smell them....

You should use the lucas system with nutes it works with soil and hydro and is simple as hell u use only flora bloom and flora micro. It may be humidity or temps or watering and maybe nutes. MJ is a tough plant so once you figure it out it should bounce back in a few days. Also liquid kool bloom is a great nute!

It looks like lock out to me, Hempy isn't really designed for a soil mix IMO.... Did you put just 100% perlite in the rez..?

Thinking of starting a bonsai hempy myself today.. Thanks Kang..!

I bought a bottle of that stuff to try mate as it does seem like a potassium problem, i am hoping i can hold it off untill i get the stuff, also bought a water filter ro for under the sink so something has to work

feeling the pinch here myself , after haveing them in the cold shed they didn`t come on atall, yet i was too stupid to just cut my losses and wait to start again. Got the esb bill today, near 400 notes, and herself is not pleased, as you lot know she blames the bills on the plants not the dryer (which she has going 4 times a day)

that said its all looking good now, plenty of hairs and some decent flower heads forming now but were still about 4 weeks from finish...

Youve got the same picks as me billy, i want evens to get beat as i just dont like the guy that much but he will beat nog easy id say, overreem should ko bigfoot but he needs to be carfull not to get sub'ed if it gos to the ground but unless overreem is hopeless without the roids lol

I'll tell you what 86, when I decided to start growing for myself here in Ireland my wife's #1 thing against it wasn't getting caught or any of that, it was, "it's going to cost too much with the electricity".
I called bullshit and showed here my own calculations but she was still wary. It wasn't until I sat her down at the computer and she watched me fill this little baby out that she realized how relatively cheap growing is compared to all the other stuff running in the house. At the very least it will give you a SOLID number on what your costs are. Check it out, maybe it will help.......

@Nnth: That is also good to find out the lineage of the strain you are wanting to grow, if they have it that is. The site does have a large database of strains.

I still think AK47 is one of the strongest, stablest strains i have ever run.

cheers for that nnth... the grow is comeing along a bit since the last update, makeing trichs, and they have bushed a little and stretched a tad too (lets hope thats it for the stretch)...

sorry to hear your haveing issues kang have you any ideas yourself on it? i`m still leaning on the potassium def, as for hempy pots i think if you read the first few pages of the hempy thread you`ll see it works brilliantly for soil and as for the filling i have used old broken up concrete as filler so its not like it has to be anything special....


and feeding i do as usual, as you would in soil when the soil is dry on top, and water until you get a slight run off, this keeps the "res" filled for the plant to use....

and a water only once a week maybe more when there nearly done to rinse out the res of bulidup etc, or a full flush when theres trouble, like you are haveing now, you could give them a flush for a full day and start your nute regiment all over again etc....

i have all the sports channels (comes with my package) but never watch them, used to watch mantracker on extreme but thats about it, i`ll have to watch some of this ufc yourself and kang are always on about....

Poor ufc last night. and overeem was way less aggressive without the roids! cant believe he dident push in round 1 and 2 and ended up getting ktfo,

spent alot of cash buying an ro system for water and took mds advice and getting GH flora micro and flora bloom for the lucas formula, cant go wrong with ph or deficiency's when ur using ro and the micro like it says so hopefully that will end my problem cause this last year using the water from the tap my plants have gone to shit. i gave them some tomatoe food last night as it was the only thing i had high in potassium (K) and low in other nutes, cant tell yet if its helped ill know tonight

Wow...I did not see silva winning, especially the way he did unless overeem tired in the 3rd. He was to cocky and got punished. I think that also messed with Rashad as he put on one of the worst performances I have seen...what a poor fight!! Aldo is just a beast...he just picked frankie apart for the 1st 2 rounds and then took it fairly handy tbh. Ya gotta love those leg kicks!!
