Hey all. I'm a yank living in Ireland. Was growing for years in California and in the midst of my first one here. About to start flower next week. I'll be sure to get some pix up.

Nice thread, cheers

Where did you pick them up mick? A friend of mine is doing a closet grow, seems like a good option if you dont want to go cutting holes and shit.

hi there jixxo, welcome and look forward to seeing those pics. welll just to let yall know oi have got all my seeds to germinate, so now i just have to start praying that they all turn out to be females, even buying feminised does not gurantee that these days. the skunk 11 are very quick to start growing, only 3 days old and are already producing there third set of leaves. thats including the round ones aswell.
when you guys were drying your buds out did you leave most of the leaves on and did it make any difference taking the leaves off. seem to be getting conflicting views on this online.
cheers

This plant still amazes me! I chopped my white dwarf 4 weeks ago right at the soil level and hung the whole plant upside down from the rafters in my shed. I went out there tonight to check on it and damn if it hadn't grown 2 more little nuggets while i was away - without roots, water or nutes. Crazy stuff!

I got them in a shop in Derry here for only £17, pretty good deal I thought only thing is you guys would have to travel some distance to get supplies up here. I can buy bio bizz nutes for £18, soil mixtures, lights and whatever seeds I want at online prices :D wee tiny shop too you wouldn't even know what they done if you didn't go in, they have dinafem roadrunners and about 20 other seed types, 7 autos maybe, really worth gettin a run up if you guys ever get a chance to come this far.

6 days since flipped to 12/12, the Snow Whites are the topped ones, the regular slightly LST'd ones are Zensation.

Tis indeed jimmy, not a missive shop but it has everything you'd need to get up and goin minus the plant pots. I take it your not too far away from where I am if you know the name of the shop haha

Lads quick question.

I seen a cfl bulb that replaces the bulbs in a garden floodlight. The cfl is 4000k. Would that be any good for the plants? I was thinking about using it to help with the heat issues im having?

Cheers lads.

the ideal light spectrum you want is either 2700k or 6500k for veg and flower(vice versa), that is the so called perfect spectrum, that light might do something but you would have to use another light with it with that has the other spectrums depending on if you are veg or flower of course, it wont do any harm but with bulbs being so cheap now you may aswell get the correct spectrums.
i was in b and q yesterday and got a t8 flourescent and a polylux bulb for 25 euro. at that price you may aswell got the correct gear, but thats only my view and someone could say i am wrong.
if you can find one of the bulbs for the fitting in that spectrum your laughing!

Cheers Lu, I got a floodlight with 2 24w 6500k bulbs in it.

Physique for that price you cant go wrong. They will help with side lighting of the plants during flowering. Good find mate!!

How do I go about wiring them into a plug?
You will need to get light fixtures and wire them up to the plug mate. Its easy enough.

On another note, my plants are really not feeling this cold weather again. I cant see them lasting much longer:cry:
